Hi Folks, I'm curious to learn which job boards or applications systems have given you your best job leads? (Ex: indeed, Zip Recruiter, Dept. of Labor, other career sites)

For me, many years ago it was Entertainment Trade papers/magazines (remember them), Monster and even Craig's list, however more recently it has been Indeed and zip recruiter. What about you?

The Year You Graduate - Yes/No/Maybe?
Okay - here is one I thought of overnight: Assuming you list your education or training on your resume, do you put your YEAR of graduations/certifications/degrees (high school, trainings, trade schools, college or anything else) on your resume? Why or why not? (I am trying the POLL feature on this one!)

What about when they ask on the initial phone call or in the first physical interview? What do you say then?

@Deborah Zahm Oh, I've had it happened more than a few times - some online applications won't let you pass the data field without a date. As for in person, depending on how its presented, I have handled it differently each time. I've had several other 'illegal' questions asked of me in the past. I just wanted to know if there are any new tweaks in this day and time that have come up in how to deal with this better. Thanks for asking. ♥🧡💛💚💙💗💜

@Faye Stevens I agree Faye - that's what I always was told and limit your history to no more than 10 - 15 years in the past. I have had a page and half before. But, 95% of the time - one page.
