Good evening everyone. I have a CCJ related to Affinity Water since 18 July 2025. I only became aware of it ion 31st July 2025 when I checked my credit report, as I did not receive any correspondence or notification about the court hearing. I applied for the judgment to be set aside in August 2025 and have now been given a hearing date of 23 February 2026. Affinity Water installed a water meter without my consent and failed to provide the requested documentation regarding water safety. After using the water, I experienced skin rashes, which forced me to purchase water filters for my household. I am a single mother on a low income living in a small property, so this has been a significant burden. After researching the matter, I would like to understand how I can have the CCJ removed. I am hoping to move home, but the presence of this CCJ on my record is preventing me from doing so.
