My daughter was playing with scrap paper and said she wanted to keep it to make a dog. I laughed and said no while I was playing with some fabric. A few minutes later she developed the below creation. What she taught me is that if you have enough imagination you can do anything with anything. Six years old and teaching a 55 year old. She proceeded to let me film her as she explained her process on a video. Sounded so professional and like she was an expert. The confidence and assured movements just made me happy as a clam. Creative works are just about anything you can imagine. Having the confidence to play and make mistakes and enjoy the process. She says let’s cut and paste again tomorrow and make another video. I for one am following her lead. Been wanting to film my own content but wasn’t confident until now. Out of the mouth of babes! Be creative! Have fun! Play and create what you love and who cares if you make a mistake. Video it and keep doing it. Onward, your fellow stitcher sister, Lisa
