Day 14. We're at 55. 🎉 (Earlier today I thought it had been 12 days 🫣 I'm losing track of time!) On Friday night I participated in a Friday Community Crawl (thank you for hosting @Lidia Axe ) - 8 communities, 8 questions, a swag bag of free gifts for anyone who completed the full crawl. My community was one of the stops. 11 new members joined through it. In one evening. This experiment worked. Welcome to everyone who found their way here through the crawl, anyone keen for a challenge is welcome here! 😊 Numbers: Members: 55 | Engagement: 76% | Discovery rank: 2,548 | Conversion rate: 13.2% | Days left: 16 | Still needed: 45 The discovery rank has jumped from 3,009 to 2,548 in 4 days. The engagement going up to 76% while we added new members is great but also due to that post urgency of the community crawl challenge so something for me to take away there about that initial engagement on joining... Update on the Meta ad: It flopped. 233 landing page views, approximately 2 signups. And since I added the "where did you hear about us?" question, zero ad-sourced members have come through. My theory: the ad drove cold traffic and to my about page which obviously wasn't enticing enough and its really driven down my conversion rate (originally it was 47.5% now 13.2%). If I run ads again I'd spend more time on the ad creative and the landing page before putting money behind it. Lesson learnt. 📝 I have updated my about page. I posted a request for a roasting in skool and got polite but very helpful feedback so lets see if that helps with conversions. What's working: Showing up in other Skool groups and participating. The challenge now: The crawl created a spike in engagement and interaction on the post which was brilliant. Now I need to think about how I make this community feel that alive on a regular basis? That's the next experiment. Days left: 16 Members needed: 45. Thinking cap on. 🧪 What are you working on this week to grow your business?👇
