IDG Practitioners in Australia?
Hello dear IDG Community I come from a tiny remote area mountain community in Tasmania (Australia) embarking on preparedness for rapid change. This is taking us into all sorts of spaces such as fire ecology, food and water security, land management etc, but we are increasingly aware that our socio-emotional integrity and resilience is central to all else we do. As funding opportunities for preparedness are increasingly available to rural communities like ours, we are on the look out for in-situ workshop facilitators who could support us in growing our social cohesion in the light of change. I’m wondering if IDG practitioners exist in Australia who could help us with our project life through inner development training. I’d be so grateful for any direction (I don’t have LinkedIn, so websites, emails, phone numbers would be better contact details for me - or I’m happy to share my contact details for referrals). Warmest, liana
Introduction
Feeling so gifted to be welcomed into this community. Deeply grateful, and very excited about journeying with you all. I come from a tiny, remote, non-intentional community focused on sustainability and tight knit community in the northern mountainscape of lutruwita (Indigenous name for Tasmania in Australia). We are a community of organic growers/farmers and homeschooling families bordering a World Heritage Area. Our location, though exquisite, makes us vulnerable to deepening climate change, and this awareness has triggered a rapid change preparedness program addressing ecological health and modification, food and water security, infrastructure maintenance, and social prepping. Although I am involved in all these areas of preparedness and am mostly interested in social prepping and what kind of relationality we need to grow for ongoing community resilience. Hence my interest in the IDGs. I have a background in anthropology and have been training in social permaculture and Cultural Emergence. The IDGs fit so snugly with these learnings and I very eager to skill up in them not only for my own personal embodiment but also to grow a community of practice as part of our preparedness, and for project life to be plugged into. However, I am also keen to offer presentations, workshops and retreats further afield too. I am affiliated with a sustainability hub in our greater region and have more recently been listed on a registrar for a 20 year strategy plan in preventative health. This is an exciting platform from which to spread the word about IDGs! Looking forward to any opportunity to learn more. Warmest, liana

@Nadene Canning Sorry about all the jargon Nadene and thank you so much for the tip! The Skill Share has so for been rich in information and it was great to present in such a nourishing environment. Interestingly, another presenter wove IDGs into her talk (about People Care/Fair Share (permaculture ethics) and Community Based Income (CBI)). I unfortunately didn’t have time to update my presentation based on your feedback but where mine fell short, the CBI presentation came to the rescue. I plan on sharing the white paper with participants as added padding, and absolutely will provide greater clarity if opportunity for another presentation emerges. Really appreciate your guidance. Warmest, liana

IDG card set (for print and digital)
Hi everyone! I'd like to share an IDG card set with you, I created to use for discussion and in workshops. I've already shared this with our local hub and there was a small working group on this, but unfortunately, we didn't really get anywhere. So I wanted to ask here: Is anybody working on something similar? Maybe we can have an exchange then! 😊 We (my team and me at iCONDU) are also thinking about printing the set professionally, but we haven't found the right print shop yet and have no experience with logistics (but a lot of people who have already expressed interest in a set). So far, we have been printing the cards for our workshops ourselves. Enclosed you will find the cards and print files – maybe it will be helpful for someone of you! Furthermore, we have developed a digital version of the cards (based on the way we use the cards in workshops). Our so-called β€œIDG Roulette” is freely accessible and you can find it here: https://idg-roulette.icondu.de/. We use it ourselves, for example, as a check-in or check-out for meetings, but it can also be used for personal journaling. In the top-right corner of the site, there is also a setting icon to hide the reflection card and use the skill-card only. We have many ideas and plans to further develop this tool (for example translations to more languages, there is also English and Germany yet) and we would be very happy to receive feedback, ideas or exchanges on this. [EDIT: With the great help of this community there is now a Spanish, Portuguese, Brazilian, Dutch and French version on the website and also as printable cards – please find the documents in the comments and let me know, if you would like to help to add another language!] Have a wonderful day! 🌻

300 Members: Celebrating Community & Inner Development at Work! 🌟
Dear community! We're thrilled to celebrate reaching 300 members in our Inner Development at Work community! It's incredible to connect with all of you passionate individuals from around the world who are committed to bring inner development to work. Our plans for the next few months: - 🧠 'What are the IDGs' series with @Denise Pang and @Nadene Canning : A discovery of the Inner Development Goals framework, to explore how they can support you daily, with the help of @Barbara Holzner IDG Roulette cards. See calendar for dates. - 🎲 IDG Game Showcase: In a monthly workshop we'll feature the creatives behind different innovative IDG-related games that you can use to help organizations develop crucial skills for sustainable change. - 🀝 Community Co-Creation: Our goal is to create a real community - not just a network, but a space where we actively create, learn, grow and co-create together. And we have some ideas for a co-created event. You'll have to come to the next connection call on March 6th (see calendar) to find out more ;-) Why Community Matters: Inspired by U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy and his concept of the "Triad of Fulfillment" (relationships, service, and purpose), we believe community is essential for well-being. By connecting, sharing, and supporting each other, we unlock our potential to create positive change. Your Turn! πŸ’¬ What does community mean to you? How would you like to get involved? Share your thoughts in the comments and let's co-create something amazing! Warmly, Sibylle, Nadene & Sarah ✨

Likewise, very grateful for such a community to be in existenceπŸ™πŸΌ. I’m excited to have found IDGs, and with a community attached! Words are springing to mind when I think of community: connection, entanglement, safety, relationality, reciprocity, service, belonging, growing, learning, interdependence… I am really mostly here for the learning. IDGs are very new to me. I see them as tools to create thriving culture with, and as having potential to shift paradigms: arenas I am keen to participate in.
