I gotta share a huge win today! I’m realizing my nervous system is becoming so much more regulated, specifically when it comes to hitting that infamous "send button"! Funny little "Just send it" moment. The old me would write an important email (like the one I just wrote to my CEO on patient safety 😬) and let it sit for days, weeks, or eternity in the drafts folder. The new me? I drafted it up and hit SEND. That's it!! No stress spiral. ✌️ Then I did the same thing reaching out to coworkers for free coaching!! (With a testimony trade 😉) I'm coming out of my hermit mentality slowly but surely, and becoming more visible is getting easier. This is a massive win!! I've been following TSNC (The Successful Nurse Coach) for years—they keep saying connection, connection, connection. Something about this community made that connection click in my brain.💡 Connecting with people used to make me so dysregulated. I still have work to do, but I've made so much progress! Hi all, I'm Joy! I've been a nurse for 3 years and some change. My background is primarily ICU but since September I've switched over to case management. I am currently enrolled in a nurse coaching course online and was also drawn to this online community from seeing positive reviews on social media. I have a deep desire to help others in a more preventative medicine sense and am kind of a nerd when it comes to nutrition. I'm thankful to be a new member of this community and am excited to learn and grow alongside one another! My favorite Nickelodean show is Spongebob, hands down (that show basically raised me). My current biz challenge is not knowing anything about starting a business but I want to take a chance on myself and create a work/life balance I believe is possible while also connecting with clients in a more personal and meaningful way.
