Call reluctance and fear of the door
I ride the wave of making calls and then getting busy managing campaigns and then fall off the calls and it takes me a week to get back to the phones. I have knocked on doors in the past but fear it every time I park in the street that I’ve planed to knock. Any advice on pushing past this?

I totally get it that’s the cycle most of us fall into. You push hard on the phones, then the workload from campaigns piles up, and before you know it a week’s gone by. The key is to treat prospecting as a non-negotiable part of your business, not something that gets done “when you have time.” Even if it’s just 30–60 minutes blocked every day, make it sacred time. With door knocking, that fear before stepping out of the car is completely normal. What helps is shrinking the barrier to entry instead of thinking “I’ve got to do this whole street,” tell yourself “I’ll just knock on three doors.” Nine times out of ten, once you’ve started, momentum kicks in and you’ll keep going. Another trick is to reframe the purpose. Don’t put pressure on yourself to “get a listing” at the door. Make the goal simple: meet people, collect info, and get comfortable. That takes away a lot of the fear because success isn’t tied to an instant result. Push yourself through the uncomfortable start that’s where the wins come from. And remember, every top agent still feels resistance at times, but the difference is they’ve trained themselves to act anyway.
