Question about outreach
I’ve been sending around 15 cold DMs per day, and I’m no longer struggling with the initial messages—I’m actually getting a good number of responses. However, I’m having trouble keeping the conversation going. 1. A lot of the people I’m reaching out to already work with a copywriter, which makes it harder to build interest. 2. Even when the conversation starts naturally, some prospects just stop replying. I send follow ups later, but it doesn’t seem to be enough. 3. Whenever I try to steer the conversation towards a sales-related question (e.g., "Are you facing any challenges?"), they go silent. I’ve accepted that some people simply won’t reply or continue the conversation, and that’s fine. But I also feel like there’s something in my approach that could be improved. I’d love to hear from those who have mastered the transition from friendly chat to a real business opportunity. How do you keep the conversation alive and move it toward a sale without scaring people off? Thanks in advance!

@Tre Heart got it, thank you very much man! And actually, a new question came to mind: how do I know when someone needs a copywriter? How can I identify them? I have a specific ICP in mind when I'm prospecting, but now I'm unsure lol.

@Tre Heart Got it man, gonna look into it. Appreciate the help!
What do you guys think of this approach?
Hey people. These days I've been approaching other digital marketing professionals, such as web designers, paid traffic managers and designers. This is the approach that I've been using: "[Name], I really liked your work! (or some other compliment) I work as a copywriter and I'm looking for partnerships for business and networking. Do you already have a copywriter on your team?" Some people reply, some people don't. And I'm interacting with them before sending the messages. But what do you guys think? Should I try something else?

@Markos Symeonides Absolutely man, I just didn't include "influence" because you had already mentioned it before! Gonna take note of these two other titles. Thanks!
Would love to get this copy reviewed
This is a fictional email. The product doesn't exist, so that's why there is no clear info, but apart from that, what do you guys think? https://docs.google.com/document/d/1h52HQolmn0W9-3fgVK27X6Hso7E1rKOo/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=117588324573284449034&rtpof=true&sd=true

@Avinash Og Thanks for the insights man! I definitely usually do researchs, this one was a bit of an exception haha. How did you spot the AI use man? I'm curious. Because where I use it was basically in those key points. I write freely my ideas and then throw the copy into chatgpt to improve the flow, correct some grammar mistakes. Now I'm realizing that this is probably the root of the problem, because it transforms the text into a more generic tone.
Help in sending cold DMs
Hey, people! Do you have any tips on how to handle Instagram accounts that require you to send a DM invitation before your message gets through? Most of the leads I try to prospect have this setting enabled, so I send the message, but most of the time, they don’t even see it. How can I overcome this challenge and improve my chances of getting noticed?
