What do you guys think of this approach?

Hey people. These days I've been approaching other digital marketing professionals, such as web designers, paid traffic managers and designers. This is the approach that I've been using:

"[Name], I really liked your work! (or some other compliment)

I work as a copywriter and I'm looking for partnerships for business and networking.

Do you already have a copywriter on your team?"

Some people reply, some people don't. And I'm interacting with them before sending the messages. But what do you guys think? Should I try something else?
