Hello Shannah, I am Leona, from NZ. Just completed Nutrition and Metabolic health coaching program, naturopathy and nutrition studies, and my intention is to change my career from corporate management role to doing something that is (to me) truly meaningful- to become a coach and help others. It is incredibly scary to make this change, as I am in late 50’s but I say - better late than never. I am passionate about holistic approach to our health and yeah - looking at the real cause or root of problem rather than sticking band aid on problem but never really solve it or understand what causes it. Sometimes I feel like I am completing the full circle, the way I lived as a kid, through fast pace and fast food mid-age, to now almost craving more natural way of living, eating and overall appreciating life as it is. I hope to surround myself with like minded peeps, and be part of strong community. Learning, sharing, celebrating wins, talking about challenges, our health and wellbeing should be our priority and living more mindfully is often the simplest thing that is so missed in today’s life. Thank you for having me. ☺️🌺

One Small Health & Wellness Tweak
Happy Monday! 😍 It's the start of a new week, which means it's a great time to think about one small way we can start changing our health for the better this week.💃🚶‍♀️ So what is one small change, or tweak, that you could incorporate into your life this week that would help elevate you towards your ultimate health and wellness goal? This can be anything from: - adding in some extra spices when you cook - adding in an extra vegetable each day to one or more meals - walking a few extra steps each day - going to bed 15 minutes earlier - turning off your devices sooner before bed - drinking more water - going outside for 15 minutes in the morning For me, I'm going to work on incorporating more strength training each day. The plan is to add in 10 to 15 minutes. 💪 So.... What's your goal?! 🤔🥳

It is bedtime and turning off devices one hour before sleep. I can be night owl and my morning routine starts way before 6am. Quality sleep is really important for me.
Let's Get MOVING Favorite Products
I've been asked more times that I can count (in a good way 😁) which specific products I'm using for my physical activity. If any of you have been on a call with me, you know I'm almost ALWAYS on my walking pad at my standing desk (sometimes outside walking around the pool with dogs), and randomly have my weighted vest on and/or am using resistance bands. So....since I finally figured out how to become an Amazon Affiliate (I know, I know...it took me long enough 🤣), here are the links to those products. And, I'll add more as I think of them, but these are some great options to start adding some more movement and/or strength training into your regular routine. I hope you enjoy! These are so good to use. I don’t have the walking pad, as having border collie dog I spend most of my free time out and about, but rest of the products are great. It’s is so important to keep reasonable physical health especially with older age, to prevent muscle loss, keep our bones healthy. We can be busy or life can interfere with our plan, so I tend to put my favorite Netflix series and exercise then. 😊
