@Leona Douglasova welcome to the group! We're thrilled to have you here and I love this pass that you're on. I completely agree with root cause and think that that is an area that most people should pay a lot more attention to than just reactive and emergency medicine. After all, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, or so the old adage goes. I'm excited to see how your journey unfolds and where you end up now that you're actively looking for a complete lifestyle overhaul and have a new perspective on things. It is interesting what time and age brings us regarding perception, isn't it?

Let's Get MOVING Favorite Products
I've been asked more times that I can count (in a good way 😁) which specific products I'm using for my physical activity. If any of you have been on a call with me, you know I'm almost ALWAYS on my walking pad at my standing desk (sometimes outside walking around the pool with dogs), and randomly have my weighted vest on and/or am using resistance bands. So....since I finally figured out how to become an Amazon Affiliate (I know, I know...it took me long enough 🤣), here are the links to those products. And, I'll add more as I think of them, but these are some great options to start adding some more movement and/or strength training into your regular routine. I hope you enjoy! @Leona Douglasova I love this! I walk with the dogs frequently work, so that's my preference when I'm not tied to my desk. And I also walk around and lift some weights whole watching Netflix or Hulu. So great minds think alike! 🥰
One Small Health & Wellness Tweak
Happy Monday! 😍 It's the start of a new week, which means it's a great time to think about one small way we can start changing our health for the better this week.💃🚶‍♀️ So what is one small change, or tweak, that you could incorporate into your life this week that would help elevate you towards your ultimate health and wellness goal? This can be anything from: - adding in some extra spices when you cook - adding in an extra vegetable each day to one or more meals - walking a few extra steps each day - going to bed 15 minutes earlier - turning off your devices sooner before bed - drinking more water - going outside for 15 minutes in the morning For me, I'm going to work on incorporating more strength training each day. The plan is to add in 10 to 15 minutes. 💪 So.... What's your goal?! 🤔🥳

For the Holistic Health Warriors and CURIOUS🤓 who want to take back their health, their life and their....light to the world! If you're someone who has tried ALL the things and still can't seem to make any headway with your overall health, this is the place for you. As someone who got diagnosed with Celiac Disease at a young age (back in the 1980's!) health, nutrition and wellness have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. One of the major things I've learned along my journey is that most traditional medical systems don't put much stock in nutrition or how it can affect your overall health. That's just never made sense to me as a logical, intelligent being. How on Earth could what you put in your mouth not have a direct impact on the overall health of your body? Time and time again, since I was young, I've run across people starting to wake up asking this same question. But, if you go and speak to your doctor (or any myriad of them trained in the Western, Allopathic medical system), they will almost undoubtedly tell you that nutrition has nothing to do with whatever health condition you may be experiencing. I'm calling bull🐮 on that nonsense! So this group is for those of us who realize that what we put into our mouths (or don't, in a lot of cases) directly impacts our: 💥Health 💥Wellness 💥Quality of life 💥Sleep 💥Stress 💥Relationships 💥Energy 💥Ability to move 💥Ability to get the maximum amount of joy out of life If you are someone who either has a health condition (or multiple) or has symptoms that something is wrong, but everyone is telling you that nothing is wrong with you, then this is the place for you. This is for the people who are simply SICK AND TIRED OF BEING SICK AND TIRED! 🤢 We not only want to take our health back, but we have a basic human right to do so. Because if you lose your health, you have nothing. For those that want our autonomy (Ownership of taking control or our own health instead of being "fixed" by someone) back regarding our health and are ready to do the work, we are here for you.

Quick & Easy Red Rice Recipe
Happy Monday! Here's a video that I just created for quick& easy red rice. Have you heard of or had red rice before? If not... Why?! This is another great way to diversify not only you plant intake but your complex carbs, magnesium, Vitamin A, anthocyanins and fiber. I'd love to hear your thoughts about not only red rice, but different rice varieties in general and what you like and/or don't like. 🥰🍘
