Italian Rescue Dog Turns Service Dog and Little Traveler!
For those who don't know, Gigi was a rescue dog we received in Calabria 6 years ago. She was pretty rough when we got her as a puppy and we cleaned her up and got her healthy. Now she is my service dog and also a staff in our movie Chasing la Bella Vita. Yesterday we did the long haul back to California. It entails a full day and night of travel and a lot of time in the air. When she first started out she was terrified of the plane, trains, and just about everything. This last trip was a joy. She turned out to be the cutest, smartest little girl we have met and the best service dog/companion ever as well.

My Gallery in Tuscany is Opening in March of 2027
Hi Guys! I finally have a solution for my Italian business tax number so I can open my gallery which is good because I have way too many paintings taking up gallery space and I would like to get them out into the world. Also in May 2027 we will have the Borgo dei Libri festival here in Torrita and I will have a booth. I am sure to will be a blow out sale! Watch this space for dates and come by. I have a lot od paintings that will fit in your luggage!! This piece I finished today. I had painted a wave seascape but it was boring so I painted this beautiful lady over it. You can still see a gull on her cheek.

How old is our house?
I wanted to find out how old our house in Italy really is. I was able to find our parcel on an 1824 map of the Torrita di Siena historical center, so it's at least 202 years old. Our house is described in a plannning/heritage document as "STEMMA DELLA FAMIGLIA PECORAI SULLA FACCIATA DELLA CASA" (PECORAI FAMILY COAT OF ARMS ON THE FACADE OF THE HOUSE). It turns out the Pecorai coat of arms is painted into Michele di Matteo’s 1444 triptych in the church of Sante Flora e Lucilla, a few steps away from our house. A Torrita historical source says members of the Monaceschi-Pecorai group were established in the Torrita area between 1228 and 1233. So does the origin of the house go much farther back into medieval times? We'll see...

This is my Favorite Scene in Chasing La Bella Vita (Our Movie)
I love this scene. Mario is so funny! Here Nancy has seen the Tuscan flag throwers and decided that she wants to become one of them.

@Chris Sobolev Chris can you talk more about "historic" property restoration vs those that need to be brought up to compliance soon with EU regulations?
