There is no I in Art, but what if it did?
I am starting a masters degree in the fall in Digital Arts in Canada. As an digital artist, I am concerned, fascinated and intrigued about the possibilities, risks and , frankly, about the place of Art in our lives moving forward, now that most of it will be pushed on us like a slop avalanche. Here to learn and expand my thoughts on this and more,

Definately a heated and awesome topic. There will always be pleasure and reward in doing something yourself but so can making something or many somethings very quickly through prompts and high powered tools. As far as I know right now copyright can't be given to any ai art without heavy human intervention. For example an artist can train a fresh image generating ai on nothing but their own art, therefore able to halucinate new art from the exact or simular style. Still not owned by the artist, not copyrightable and therefore anyone can use it. Brutal
Excited?! Yes.
How are you preparing? Pen and paper enough?

@Audrey Olangana Yeah you're so right, I've seen a few note taking / summery tools. That being said a part of this is commiting knowledge to memory. If my neurons aren't involved i won't remember much ahaha
