@Alexa de los Reyes I don't really have a specific menu but what I do when coming out of FMD is to eat kinda the same things but without the restriction on how much. It's an intuitive thing...after the 5 days I find that I'm super in tune with my cravings - with what sound good to eat. I keep it pretty simple to start and then gradually add different foods in. Breakfast might look a baked apple with nut butter and ghee. Lunch, some kind of brothy meal with veggies, ferments, grains like quinoa, eggs or animal protein. Dinner is the same but less. I make lunch the biggest most complicated meal and steer clear of fillers like pasta and junk food for at least a week after. I want to keep that feeling of goodness I get for as long as possible!

Day two of FMD, so far so good. It’s been interesting to find that I don’t have much of an appetite. I’m not surprised since there seems to be a lot of extra Kapha in my stomach. At dinner last night, my stomach churned at the thought and the smell of the red lentils I was cooking. It wasn’t that I wasn’t hungry, my just body very clearly let me know that red lentils weren’t it. You know what was? Banana and peanut butter.🤷🏻♀️ You know that feeling you get when you instantly know that the food you put into your mouth is IT? Instant reception and a sigh of relief, and the taste is the best thing ever? It was like that. Curious and looking for new ideas…what have you’ve been eating?
@Juliet Cullins Thanks for sharing! You've reminded me of soup. I think it's more of a good, nourishing broth I am after. Veggie stock with a bit of peppercorns and some fresh turmeric root thrown in. And just made some souerkraut, thinking nut bars too. And nibs...and sweet potato...😊
