🌿 Tune-In Tuesday
Today feels like a continuation of what I realised I needed this week… Yesterday was very much an action day. Resetting the house, clearing space, getting things back into some kind of order. And today I’m just tuning into that a little more. --- I’ve realised how much I needed to reset my environment. To declutter. To clean. To make things feel a bit more aligned again. --- But something I noticed last night… I didn’t have the energy for anything mental. So instead of trying to push through, I just focused on the physical side of things and left the rest. --- And today, what I feel like I need is to create some space mentally. So I’ll be doing a gentle admin reset… going through what’s been sitting in my mind, figuring out what actually needs my attention this week, and what can wait. Nothing heavy. Just enough to feel clearer. --- I’ve brought my summer clothes down from the loft, and at some point this week I’ll start shifting things over… lighter colours, brighter pieces, just a change in energy. And it feels like more than just sorting clothes. It feels like a bit of a reset. --- There’s also a deeper layer to all of this at the moment… We’re wanting to move home. And I think that’s why I’ve been feeling so called to care for the space we’re in right now. For me, it’s about appreciating what we have… while also opening up space, physically and mentally, for what’s next. --- Nothing big today. Just tuning into what feels right, and letting that guide me. --- If you take a moment today… Just gently check in with yourself: What do you need today? And… Is it something physical, or something mental that needs your attention right now? --- Let that guide you 🤍

Housework is my biggest barrier to peace! Im ADD and so it gets done when my energy is right, I go from superwoman, whizzing round getting loads done, to dragging myself off the sofa just to load the dishwasher hours after its finished. Sometimes after seeing a few clients during the day and entertaining the kids, I can literally sit on the sofa and watch them trash my living room, and think to myself, I don't care, because they aren't climbing all over me

@Liz Patti I had a picture of a cleaner in my vision board, and after my second baby was born I did have a cleaner for 2 hours a week, but haven’t been able to justify the spend for the last couple of years. I’ve now removed the image from my vision board, I’ve just lower my expectations instead. I’m done comparing myself to people who keep their homes immaculate. My home is full of love, activities and learning resources. My beautifully messy home 🥰
Wellness Wednesday 🌿
Midweek check-in… Have you done anything this week to protect your energy, your capacity, or your wellbeing? Not perfectly. Not in a “self-care routine” kind of way. Just in small, real-life moments. This week, I’ve been trying to let myself flow a little more instead of forcing everything. After a bit of a heavy weekend, Monday became more of a reset day. I still made space to be present with Connor and have some proper connection time, while also gently finding my footing again. I’ve been leaning back into simple things that help me feel steadier: ✨ resetting the house at night so mornings feel calmer ✨ switching off at 10pm instead of pushing myself too far ✨ coffee, cake, and a catch-up with my best friend this morning ✨ allowing myself rest when I needed it instead of feeling guilty for it And tonight, me and Lee are hoping to have a little time together too. Nothing fancy, just slowing down enough for some connection and a couples massage once Connor settles. Sometimes wellbeing isn’t about adding more. Sometimes it’s about softening the pressure a little. I put the kids in front of a movie yesterday afternoon and had a nap. You know I got so much done afterwards!!!

I get up at 5.30am, I’ve done it since having 2 kids, I go to bed early, usually when they go, then I get an hour, sometimes more, to myself everyday to meditate, journal etc. That hour is so precious 🧘‍♀️
