Midweek check-in…
Have you done anything this week to protect your energy, your capacity, or your wellbeing?
Not perfectly.
Not in a “self-care routine” kind of way.
Just in small, real-life moments.
This week, I’ve been trying to let myself flow a little more instead of forcing everything.
After a bit of a heavy weekend, Monday became more of a reset day. I still made space to be present with Connor and have some proper connection time, while also gently finding my footing again.
I’ve been leaning back into simple things that help me feel steadier:
✨ resetting the house at night so mornings feel calmer
✨ switching off at 10pm instead of pushing myself too far
✨ coffee, cake, and a catch-up with my best friend this morning
✨ allowing myself rest when I needed it instead of feeling guilty for it
And tonight, me and Lee are hoping to have a little time together too. Nothing fancy, just slowing down enough for some connection and a couples massage once Connor settles.
Sometimes wellbeing isn’t about adding more.
Sometimes it’s about softening the pressure a little.
So this is your reminder to check in with yourself today…
