I wear a Garmin and an Oura ring, and I like both. The data’s fun to see, even when they disagree. One will tell me I slept great, and the other says I need more rest. It’s a good reminder that none of it’s perfect. When I first started using them, they helped me pay more attention to my steps and sleep habits. My Oura ring was part of the reason I decided to quit drinking completely five years ago. It’s hard to ignore how even one glass of wine messes with sleep and recovery when it's right there in black and white. For me, they mostly confirm what I already know. I can tell when I need to rest or when I’ve got more to give. I’ve had clients say the same. I have clients who wear Fitbit, Apple Watch, Oura, and Garmin. One client told me she stopped wearing hers because she didn’t need another reminder that she was “falling short” on steps during an already stressful week, and I've seen others got so caught up in the numbers they forgot to trust themselves to know when to rest. The data can be helpful and fun to watch, but it’s no substitute for learning how to listen to your own body. As a coach, I work to help clients with that balance.
Are you Including Lab Tests in Your Wellness Program?
An opportunity has emerged for health coaches to provide high-touch services with AI-powered functional lab testing results from Function Health, that do not require a doctor's prescription. I purchased a quarterly lab test subscription from Function to monitor key indicators, including hormone levels, inflammatory markers, vitamin deficiencies, etc. When recommending lab tests and the best wearable health monitors for blood sugar, heart rate, and even sleep cycles, this combination of science-based health tracking is superior to the care of a medical practice. If you want more ideas about designing a longevity lifestyle wellness program that includes science-based lab tests, or have questions about integrating this into your practice, comment below.

@Maria Allshouse, NBC-HWC hi Maria, This looks like a great option for staying in scope as a non-licensed practitioner. Did you need to share your NBC-HWC certificate to qualify? I’d love to hear what your experience with Evexia has been.

The ‘after 3 times’ work better for me, but I have to do them as “on call” meaning I might get pulled away, which is why I usually catch the replays as to not be a disruption
Enrolling Clients Without Being Salesy
If you’ve ever dreaded the sales part of your coaching business… you’re not alone. Many health & wellness coaches love teaching, healing, and guiding, but the moment the conversation shifts to money, everything feels awkward. It doesn’t have to be this way. After personally generating over $12 million in client engagements, I am sharing a consultative sales framework that is a simple, heart-led method for enrolling high-ticket clients. During this discussion I will share tips about what to do and not to do, including Why “pitching” turns people off (and what to do instead) How to start a conversation that inspires trust and connection How to enroll clients in small group programs or corporate wellness programs These simple strategies are intended to help you enroll your next 10 clients so you can start coaching and do what you love. Join the livestream at 12 PM PST on LinkedIn and bring your questions.

have a schedule conflict. I'll catch the replay. Thanks!
sharing wins!
I am celebrating the small wins along the way to a contract, so I wanted to share that here. My networking chats led to an in-person coffee meeting with an owner of a local law firm (3 offices, in-person staff, 125 employees). He was kind and seemed interested. Asked for pricing and said he would connect me with his HR team for next steps. I am getting better at articulating out loud (I'm better at writing it haha) the value of what I do. checking the small win boxes through this journey. I'd love to hear your small (AND BIG) wins too.
