What’s One Small Change That Made Your Business Easier?
Something I’ve been thinking about lately is how most progress in small business doesn’t come from big breakthroughs it comes from small changes that reduce friction. Things like: - Clarifying your offer so you explain it less - Creating a simple process you can repeat - Saying no to one thing that drains time or energy - Fixing one recurring problem instead of working around it These aren’t flashy moves, but they quietly make everything easier over time. A lot of us are experimenting as we go, and those small lessons are often more useful than big theories especially for people just getting started. What’s one small change you’ve made in your business that made things simpler or less stressful?

@Mark Thomas This is a really strong example of friction reduction in action. What I like most is that you didn’t add a new process you removed one and used an underutilized tool instead. That kind of thinking scales really well, especially in complex environments like factories. CANI + 2 Second Lean feels like a powerful combo for that.

New Year / Fresh Start
By now, this is usually the moment when New Year’s resolutions start to wobble. The excitement fades. The to-do list feels longer. Doubt creeps in. If you’re just starting a business, or pushing yourself to make 2026 different - here’s your reminder: momentum doesn’t come from motivation — it comes from consistency. You don’t need a perfect plan. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to keep showing up — one small, intentional step at a time. Progress looks like: ✔️ asking questions ✔️ learning new tools ✔️ adjusting the plan ✔️ staying in the game when it gets uncomfortable The same discipline that carried you through service will carry you through entrepreneurship — just applied in a new way. This isn’t the “make it or break it” moment. It’s the decide to keep going moment. You’ve got this. And you don’t have to do it alone. 🇺🇸✨

One Question That Helps When Everything Feels Important
Something I’ve noticed as a business owner is that overwhelm often comes from treating every task as equally urgent. A question that helps me reset is: “If I could only move one thing forward this week, what would actually make the biggest difference?” Not the easiest task. Not the one that feels productive. The one that truly moves the business forward even if it’s uncomfortable or takes more focus. Most weeks don’t need more effort, just better prioritization. What’s one thing in your business right now that would create the most progress if you gave it your attention this week?

One Small Habit That Helped Me Focus on What Really Matter
One thing I keep seeing with small business owners is that they’re busy all day… but still unsure what’s actually moving their business forward. It’s easy to spend hours replying to messages, tweaking a website, posting on social media, or chasing tiny tasks but when you step back, revenue and momentum don’t always match the effort. Something that’s helped me (and others I’ve learned from) is asking a simple question each week: “What are the 3 actions that would make this week a win?” Not 20 things. Just 3.Examples could be: - Reach out to 5 potential clients - Finish and send one proposal - Launch or test one small offer - Improve one part of your sales or onboarding process When everything feels important, nothing really is. Focusing on a few high-impact moves keeps you from drowning in busywork. what’s one thing in your business right now that, if you fixed or improved it, would make everything else easier?
