Dangerous Minds and Eternal Transformation
Scripture “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind…” —Romans 12:2 Reflection It takes what the world calls a dangerous mind to want more. Not more things, not more recognition—but more growth, more transformation, more of God’s purpose than comfort will ever allow. To live this way means resisting every pull, every push, every pressure to fit into what’s “normal.” The truth is, God does not call us to normal. Normal is safe. Normal is predictable. Normal bows to the patterns of this world. But transformation is dangerous—it threatens everything temporary. Stress becomes peace because you trust in God’s sovereignty. Chaos becomes fuel because God can use it to refine you. And life itself becomes a game of doing the impossible because “with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26). To follow Christ means shedding your current self over and over again. Like layers of an old life being stripped away, we are “being renewed day by day” (2 Corinthians 4:16). This process is painful. Most cannot endure the constant call to let go of what is dying in order to embrace what is eternal. Yet this is the very path of discipleship: death to self, life in Christ. When you learn to walk that thin line between past and future, anchored only in the eternal, you realize something liberating—the only thing that truly matters is what lasts forever. Not titles, not possessions, not applause. But faith, hope, and love. These endure. These are dangerous to a world built on fading things. Prayer Lord, give me the courage to resist the pull of what is normal and comfortable. Teach me to find peace in pressure, to find fuel in chaos, and to embrace the impossible with faith. Strip away what is temporary in me and anchor me in what lasts forever. Amen. Reflective Questions 1. Where in your life do you feel the pressure to “be normal” instead of transformed? 2. What old layer of yourself is God asking you to shed right now? 3. How can you anchor your focus today on what truly lasts forever?

I always feel like I’m not worthy. I definitely dwell on past events and actions. When I do they start to drag me down. I’m getting better at not allowing it to happen but it is definitely a struggle. I need to reach out to Him a lot more than I do.
When Life Shakes You
Scripture: “The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” — Luke 6:45 (ESV) Reflection Life will shake you—it’s not a matter of if but when. Trials, disappointments, sudden changes, or even small frustrations act like jolts to your soul. And when you’re shaken, whatever is inside of you spills out. If your heart is filled with bitterness, that’s what will come pouring out. If it’s full of fear, that will overflow. But if your heart is rooted in Christ, filled with His Word, His Spirit, and His peace, then even under pressure, what spills out will look like Him—patience in the middle of chaos, grace toward those who hurt you, hope when others are sinking in despair. That’s why it matters what you’re carrying before the shaking comes. You can’t wait until the storm hits to prepare; you fill your cup daily with the presence of God so that when life tips you, what overflows brings life and light to others. Application Questions - What “spills out” of me when I’m stressed or pressed? - What do my reactions reveal about what I’ve been carrying inside? - How can I be more intentional about filling myself with God’s Word and presence each day? Prayer Lord, I know life will shake me, and I don’t want anger, fear, or bitterness to spill out. Fill me with Your Spirit. Pour into me love, patience, peace, and strength so that when the pressure comes, others see You in me. Teach me to guard my heart, because everything I am flows from it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Nothing will set you back on the path quicker than expecting something good and finding it is bad or not what you need or want. I try to not be disappointed because I know it is God’s plan.
Authorized to Act
Scripture Reading - “Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us.” — 2 Corinthians 5:20 - “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” — James 1:22 - “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7 Reflection When you surrendered to Christ, you weren’t just forgiven — you were commissioned. You became His vessel, entrusted with His presence and His message. As Paul says, we are “ambassadors for Christ.” That means we carry His authority into every part of life — our families, our workplaces, our neighborhoods. But authorization without action is wasted. God has already equipped you with His Spirit, His Word, and His authority. Still, it is your choice whether to step forward. Faith is not passive; it is activated through obedience. Confidence to act rarely comes before action. It grows as you step out, one decision at a time, trusting that God is with you. Prayer aligns your will with His. Meditation strengthens your heart with His promises. Study gives you clarity and understanding. But ultimately, activation comes when you act — when you put one foot on the path, even if you can’t see the whole way forward. Every step of obedience is a declaration: “I trust You, Lord.” Questions for Reflection 1. Where in your life is God calling you to act, but fear has kept you from stepping forward? 2. What is one small act of faith you can take today to put God’s Word into practice? 3. How can you remind yourself daily that you are authorized — not by your worthiness, but by His Spirit within you? Practical Application - Write down one area where you’ve been hesitant to act. - Pray and ask God for courage to take the first step. - Commit to walking in that direction this week, trusting Him with the outcome. Prayer “Lord, thank You for authorizing me to represent You in this world. Forgive me when I hesitate to act in faith. Give me the courage to step forward, even when I cannot see the outcome. May my obedience activate my faith, and may my steps lead others closer to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Do It Scared
(A tribute to the season of courage) Ansley Moxley Scripture Reading - “Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9 - “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” — Psalm 56:3 Reflection Fear is not proof of failure — it is proof that the task matters. If Joshua had no fear, God would not have commanded him to be courageous. If Esther felt no trembling, her “If I perish, I perish” would have carried no weight. Faith is not about waiting until fear disappears, but about obeying God while fear is still present. Jesus never said, “Do it when you’re not scared.” He said, “Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid” (Matthew 14:27). That was right before Peter stepped out of the boat. His faith didn’t begin when the waves calmed — it began when he did it scared. The lesson is simple: You don’t need to feel fearless to be faithful. You need only enough courage to take the next step. God meets you there. Reflection Questions 1. What step of faith are you hesitating to take because of fear? 2. How have you seen God show up in times you acted even while scared? 3. What promise of God can you hold onto the next time you face trembling obedience? Prayer Lord, I confess that fear often paralyzes me. Yet You remind me that You are with me wherever I go. Give me courage to obey even when I don’t feel ready, steady my heart when I’m afraid, and help me trust that Your presence is greater than my fear. In Jesus’ name, amen.

I don’t talk much to others about my faith. I’m always afraid I will say or do something wrong. I think it is because I still sometimes doubt myself instead of turning my voice over to Jesus to so he can guide my words.

Getting Your Affairs in Order
Opening Question When you think about “getting your affairs in order,” do you picture legal documents and finances, or do you think about being spiritually ready to meet the Lord? The Bible calls us to both. Scripture Readings - “Set your house in order, for you shall die, you shall not recover.” — Isaiah 38:1 - “It is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.” — Hebrews 9:27 - “You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” — Matthew 24:44 Reflection King Hezekiah’s story reminds us that life is fragile. Though he was granted extra years, his warning shows the importance of readiness. The Bible teaches us that affairs are not only financial or material—they are spiritual. 1. Order Your Soul Before anything else, be right with God. That means confessing sin, trusting Christ, and living in daily repentance. Eternity is the ultimate reality to prepare for. 2. Order Your Relationships Unforgiveness, bitterness, and estrangement are “loose ends” of the heart. Jesus taught reconciliation (Matthew 5:23–24). Getting your affairs in order means restoring peace where possible. 3. Order Your Responsibilities Proverbs 27:23 reminds us to know the condition of what we steward. This might include writing a will, arranging care for loved ones, and managing finances responsibly (1 Timothy 5:8). Good stewardship spares loved ones unnecessary hardship. 4. Order Your Priorities Jesus calls us to be ready for His return. That means living with eternal perspective, not clinging to earthly treasures, but seeking first His kingdom (Matthew 6:33). Application - Spiritually: Have you trusted Christ? Is there any sin unconfessed, or relationship unreconciled? - Practically: Do your loved ones know your wishes? Are your finances and responsibilities in order? - Daily: Are you living today as if Christ could return tonight? Prayer Lord, teach me to number my days, that I may gain a heart of wisdom (Psalm 90:12). Help me to put my house in order—not only in worldly things, but in the things of eternity. Give me courage to reconcile relationships, wisdom to steward well, and readiness to meet You with joy. Amen.
