Learn how to use TVP!
TVP (Textured Vegetable Protein) is a high-protein, budget-friendly plant-based food that can make hitting your macros much easier. TVP is flavorless on its own, so think of it like a drier version of tofu. It works best when you rehydrate it in broth or seasoned liquid rather than plain water, as this adds much more flavor. Once hydrated, TVP becomes incredibly versatile. You can season and cook it just like you would ground beef or turkey. It's great for taco meat, bolognese sauce, chili, sloppy joes, and even vegan jerky. You can also combine it with other ingredients to make burgers or meatballs. To prepare it, simply soak it in broth or a seasoned liquid for 5–10 minutes, then cook and season it however you like. @Sam Gullo maybe soy curls, but they're expensive. bulkfoods.com, or ethnic grocery stores in your area. I've had luck at carribean/latin markets and indian grocery stores, for significantly less than other US grocery/health food stores

@Sam Gullo totally understand, i would order online to be more cost effective/more for your money. trader joes is kind of meh for a lot of reasons
bean/nut veggie "meat" (crumble/patties/loaf)
I am super impressed with how versatile beans and nuts are. The past year I've really expanded on my homemade veggie burger game. I started out making an oat and lentil mix, and appreciate that. I've tried that system with new combos that are wonderful too. Split peas, or chickpeas, with walnuts, or pecans are great, and i find them to be interchangeable. Adding things chickpea flour, and vital wheat gluten, and a range of seasonings. Sweet potatos are so creamy, and beets give the red look. WOW. I love being willing to try new things. I impress myself far more than disappoint. I try pan frying, or baking. Cooking is a craft and I have the mentality that few things are unsalvageable. I hope you find new plants, and products you haven't tried before and incorporate them into your routine 🪄🍀❤️‍🔥🕺🏼

Vegan "Egg" Seasoning
One of my favorite seasoning is a vegan egg flavoring. It is really good! Non-vegans tell me they cannot believe it is vegan. INGREDIENTS: 1/4 Cup Nutritional Yeast 2 1/2 TBSP Kala Namak (Black Salt) 1 1/2 TBSP Turmeric 1 1/2 TBSP Onion Powder 1 TBSP Garlic Powder 2 TSP Black Pepper INSTRUCTIONS: Mix everything together. Store in an air-tight container. Enjoy! SOME USE CASES: - vegan mayo - casseroles - tofu scramble - JustEggs brand mung bean - lentil loaf - stir fry - potato salad - meatloaf/meatball type of recipes which normally call for lentils or beans or tofu My favorite is to make cabbage noodles (cut in the shape of egg noodles and steamed until it is al dente) then seasoning the noodles with this seasoning. Yum! What can you dream up to use it on?
