How to update A+ content in a faster way ?
I only had 6 books in my 9 months journey on KDP so far and was able to keep my A+ content up-to-date (and not too bad quality). I've increased my production pace and now I can release new books with relative low effort & time. But my bottleneck remains in updating A+ content across all marketplaces... The more books I have, the more time it takes, as I haven't been able to automatize it. The creation of banners is actually fast, but it is the updates inside KDP, for all marketplaces, that takes ages... Anyone has been able to find a smart way for managing this ??? Any extension ?? Anything with Claude CoWork or else ?? I remember reading in a forum @Hector Martín was able to release like 60+ books in a short time , how are you managing the A+ content for them ?? Tx in advance for any help !!!! @Igor O @Thomas Juuls @Hector Martín

@Igor O noted! Even though this hasn’t been a bottleneck for me… yet!
Audible audiobook from Kindle. Any experiences?
My first AI-narrated ebooks are in the publishing state, so I am interested - does anybody already have any experience with that format?

@Yaffa Turgeman I think you do children's books. Did you pick the option fixed format for the ebook?

@Yaffa Turgeman Oh, I see. I need to look into replica, then. In any case, I don't think replica option would not trigger the invitation for audiobook from Amazon. One of the requirements for offering the audiobook option (check the Amazon link I shared in my previous comment, if interested) was that the ebook must be reflowable format.
How to make your illustrations stop screaming "AI-generated"
The same girl, the same composition, but one comment is "Such a cute illustration. I love it" and another is "Yet another AI generation. 1 star." But how do you make a decision: will the illustration help or will it tank your book? The rule is simple: ask yourself, how much would it really cost you to commission the illustration you want to use to a real artist? If you can afford a human illustration in the style you choose, it’s a good illustration. If the illustrations generated by the LLM would cost you a small fortune, your readers will probably feel the same, and you will read a lot of "AI" comments below your book. I hope this will be helpful.

I love this topic. It's truly fascinating. For most self-publishers, AI illustrations are the best course of action. A good illustrator costs a fortune, and sometimes... I don't know, you don't even get great quality. I tested a couple of illustrators before deciding I would do my first children's book with AI illustrations. Why? Because the results AI was giving me were superior that those from the illustrators. True. I guess they weren't the best illustrators in the world either. But probably I can't afford those either (Besides, if you think your fiverr guy that says he/she's drawing all by hand is really doing it, well... I bet it's not always the case.) In general, the feedback I've gotten for the illustrations is that they are really cute. Having said that, there have, of course, been some exceptions. Also, when you use AI-generated illustrations a lot, you start to recognize the patterns AI gets into. Not sure if the rest of people that don't use these tools all the time spot them naturally or not, but I think some probably do. So, the idea is breaking the patterns AI naturally produces. So, some level of editing will be required, unless you are the master prompter of all times, I guess. Funny fact? I was listening to an interview of children's book author (traditional publishing) and she said the author and the illustrator don't talk to each other during the process. So, basically, it's all handled by the editorial team. I found it pretty surprising!
Beginner in Amazon KDP
I am a total beginner in this type of business that starts their journey right from today. I think of publishing my first medium content book (crossword puzzle book) until 5th July. I would be happy if some experienced ones in this area see this post and leave a comment on how difficult it is to make the book and sale it, or what paid and unpaid tools I will definitely need in order to support this journey, or any tips they have to give to a true beginner like me in general.

@Thomas Juuls 100% agreed. The old saying: don’t judge a book by its cover… well, it doesn’t apply in the KDP business. Also agree with the power of simply using the auto suggest bar for kwd research when starting out, if you want to save some money, as expenses quickly build on top of each other. Also, prioritize getting some reviews. Good A+ content can also help the book a lot, as you get an opportunity to present the highlights and show inside of the book. Amazon ads are also indispensable unless you have some social media following or other marketing platforms to promote your book. I can’t give you any tips on coloring books or crossword books. I have no experience in this field, but looks like @Igor O has put you in the right direction.
Thursday Triumphs
My latest book (still no reviews and low price) got 3 sales via ads yesterday (Thursday). Interesting is, that one sale of two copies happened with a brand new keyword that I never thought possible to trigger a book sale (proof: 1 impression, 1 click, 1 sales). The hardcover also seems to have gotten a sale. It has a real BSR this morning. Probably due to the HC, the book is #1 again in New Releases of its main category and #5 in an associated gift-book category. Wishing you all a lot of success - Friday Flourishes
