Hey everyone 👋 I’m hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. I’ve hit a bit of a hiccup getting Clawdbot working properly. I followed Nate’s most recent videos and installed Clawdbot on a VPS via Hostinger. The install itself seemed to go fine, and I can access the Clawdbot Control Gateway dashboard without any issues. The problem starts when I try to actually use Clawdbot. Whenever I call it in chat, it just repeats or mimics what I’m saying instead of responding intelligently. No real reasoning or task handling. My suspicion is that something went wrong during setup, possibly with the LLM configuration or API key (OpenAI). I may have entered the key incorrectly during the terminal install, but I’m not technical enough to confidently confirm or fix it. Where I’m stuck: - I’m not sure how to properly change or reset the LLM model and API key - I don’t know if this can be fixed inside the Control Gateway, or if it requires terminal changes - If reinstalling is the best option, I’m unsure how to cleanly remove the existing setup and start again If anyone has run into this before or knows: - Why Clawdbot would just echo messages - How to correctly reconfigure or replace the LLM key - Or the safest way to reinstall without breaking everything I’d really appreciate any guidance 🙏Happy to provide screenshots or more details if needed.
