Day 12, Happy March 1st!
Today we simply move and embrace the possibilities of a new month. Progress, not perfection. If things haven’t been flawless, that’s okay. Use movement to reconnect to the present moment and keep improving, little by little.

I always love where my mind goes during our movement medicine. While I was using my oars, I ended up singing “Michael, Row the Boat Ashore, Hallelujah.” I haven’t thought of that song in years! I love when memories pop up out of nowhere. Then when we were squatting and elbows to knees, for some reason, the Oompa Loompa song came to mind 🤦🏽‍♀️😂. I definitely was smiling throughout the movements. Chair / Prayer twists are one of my favorite yoga poses - so good for our internal organs! Wishing everyone a wonderfully gray Oompa Loompa Doompity Doo day 💝 (that’s a good thing)

Thanksgiving in March
I’ve mentioned in the past, and I continue to believe, it’s the little things in life that can bring us so much thanks, joy and warmth to our lives. Little things like birds singing, a smile from a stranger, the sunshine, a gentle breeze on our face, something that makes you look up to the sky and say “I know you did that.” I believe that my loved ones send signs often. My Thanksgiving cactus plants are blooming beautifully on this first day of March! I don’t think they bloomed this nicely in November. Another small thing that brings joy 🤩

Day 11, Shape Your Environment
Today we take movement to the floor and look at our surroundings differently. Instead of trying to change everything, we shape our environment so it supports success. Even getting down to the floor once or twice can become an opportunity to build mobility, strength, and a new way of seeing what’s possible.

Welcome to my wheelhouse! I have practiced yoga for nearly 28 years now, maybe more 🤔 I love getting down on the floor. My mat is always out and ready for me, anytime I feel the need to breathe 🧘🏻‍♀️ daily and often twice daily. The floor is your friend. Even if it is a challenge, meet that challenge with confidence and a smile. I am so glad I found this community! I hope my day allows me to sit in on the live feed Sunday (?) at 10 AM. I have to admit I am a bit curious about water fasting. Drew, will you provide a link? Or how does that work?

@Angela Churchill the bed is the next best thing. If you have access to YouTube, there are many yoga in bed videos!

Today we move with curiosity and wonder. If you’re creating change during these 40 days and fear shows up, that’s normal. Instead of shrinking back, can you explore what’s possible? Notice what your body can do today, and let curiosity lead the way.

Hi Drew, started doing your movement workouts again this last week. Before that been poorly, so haven’t done anything. But I have missed it because I have noticed how stiff I have become. So Thank you and keep up the good work.
