Cloning
Hey when yall cut clones do you just put em in water? Or do yall care about the parts per mil of the solution you put them in before actually plugin them in a substrate? Also Iโ€™ve done some hydroponics before vs now we are using rockwool. And Iโ€™ve seen a lot less transition stress cuz the roots are used to an actual medium instead of hydrophobic roots.. anyone have any thoughts or opinions on that?

@Jake Hudecek @Jake Hudecek yeah! I like the simplicity here. Not so overwhelming. Thanks for all you do! I like the aloe tip too! We use Cuts growth hormone.

@Jake Hudecek this is a really good reminder cuz I do this with most of my houseplants and never get too fancy with those and it seems to work just fine lol
Why do you grow weed?
I've done a lot of thinking recently about why different people get into growing. For some, it's all about having access to affordable cannabis. Others it's all about pursuing quality. And for a surprisingly large chunk, they do it just for the fun of growing a cool plant that they used to not be able to (you'd actually be surprised how many people grow weed and don't consume it or do anything with it besides give it away). But I want to know, what makes YOU want to start growing? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For me personally, I've always had a mild interest in cannabis. When I started consuming for the first times it was just something fun to do and try out. Over time I got exposed to the crazy world of different strains with different smells, tastes, effects, etc and thought it was super cool how varied of an experience you can get, and how certain weed could be tailored for certain things. What really changed my view was getting exposed to some of the really high end cannabis . . . I'm talking weed that's sold for $500+ / oz and that's if you're even able to find it (it sells out remarkably quick from the growers / brokers). I still remember some of those batches of "special" weed that totally changed my perspective of what cannabis is, and what it can do. Some of the smells blew me away, and instantly had me recognize certain scents with things I've smelled previously in life in super specific ways. It's kind of hard to describe but I'm talking weed that smells like soggy fruit loops at the end of a cereal bowl. Not fresh fruit loops. Not fruit flavored smell. But identical to the end of that cereal bowl. It gets weirdly specific and it's really hard to describe, but if you've ever had a similar experience you'll understand what I mean. Something just clicks in your brain and brings back a memory. The taste was the same way. I realized that you can consume weed and not get that "shitty smoke taste" in your mouth (once again the only way I know how to describe it). I found myself constantly wanting to try more and the joint getting tastier the further down I got and sometimes changing flavor. This is a really hard one to understand as well unless you've had it, but there's some weed that can literally taste like candy and coats your mouth with that flavor.
