Happy Holidays 🎄 Merry Christmas everyone!
Surgery recovery is a perfect time to improve my golf knowledge. Going through my TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) certification training so I give the gift of even better diagnosis and correction for the more serious golfers here. Would you rather have all new golf gear (clubs, balls, clothes, etc) OR Highly efficient golf swing?

@Anthony Thomas lol always a work in progress!
Filling my golf bag
I’m looking for some recommendations for filling the remainder of my golf bag. So far I have 5-g on order. I need to get some clubs to fill in the gaps. Driver, woods/hybrids, additional wedges. What’s everyone thoughts/recommendations? Only thing I’m kinda eyeballing is Ping 440 SFT driver.

Buying new clubs might be the best part, definitely my favorite! A few things I’d recommend. Everything @Anthony Thomas said, plus. -Don’t worry about brand, buy/hit what feels good. -Hit everything you can and get fit. Even basic fittings (stock shaft/flex/length) can help a ton and are usually free. -Get some sort of fairway wood. 3wood can be intimidating, if so, 5wood can always be an option. -I’d definitely grab another wedge or two depending on budget. Start with a Sand then maybe a Lob. -If on a budget, a driver, fairway wood, and sand wedge would be plenty to get around any golf course. Assuming you own a putter. Have fun and can’t wait to see the update photos!

For real!!! No pictures on a scorecard.
Rainy days, no problem
It had been storming here in the Bay Area and there is no lul in sight. No problem, indoor practice is definitely a good alternative, especially on a budget. Today I got a practice session on the virtual range. I’m using the golf daddy simulator and it’s nice that it doesn’t require a ball. There is more of a focus on taking a divot. Check out my last round. Don’t mind the mess (working on some home projects 😆) What are your go-to drills or practice routines when the weather is less than ideal?

Sweet setup! Never even heard of this before, looks awesome and nice you can put it all away. Love the divot feedback.
