Frugality as an entrepreneur can keep you poor...Your thoughts?
Pros of Frugality - Cost Savings: Being frugal helps reduce unnecessary expenses, increasing profit margins and cash flow. - Financial Discipline: Frugality promotes financial discipline, encouraging smart decision-making and resourcefulness. - Risk Management: Being cautious with spending can help manage financial risks in business. Cons of Excessive Frugality - Limited Growth: Overemphasizing frugality might lead to underinvesting in critical areas like marketing, talent acquisition, or technology, potentially stunting business growth. - Missed Opportunities: Being too frugal could cause you to miss out on opportunities that require investment for significant returns. - Burnout: Excessive frugality might lead to overworking or cutting corners in ways that harm business sustainability or personal well-being. Balanced Approach - Strategic Spending: Focus on smart spending that aligns with business goals. Invest in areas that drive growth and cut costs where it doesn't impact performance. - Context Matters: Consider the stage of your business. Early on, frugality might be more necessary for survival. As you scale, strategic investments become more critical. - Monitor and Adjust: Regularly review your financial strategies and adjust based on business needs and market conditions. In summary, while frugality can help manage costs, an overly strict approach to frugality as an entrepreneur might limit growth potential.

Think of a company with branches - being extremely frugal with operational costs will lead some to think that it is best to just close all the branches! Save money! Only have an HQ! And the ship sinks....
My personal experience with fear of success, NOT fear of failure.
Here are the signs when you have a fear of success, maybe one or more of these resonate with you. This normally creates very subtle self-sabotage 🤦‍♂️ - Procrastination right before opportunities. - Turning down promotions or exposure. - Quitting too early when progress shows. - Minimizing achievements (“It was just luck”). - Setting goals but never following through. What behavior shows up with you personally relevant to fear of success?

Overthinking things! So I suppose the procrastination will fit. 🙇‍♂️🤦‍♂️
Income vs time freedom
What motivates you more, income or time freedom?

Definitely income! I need that income to improve the amount of options I can choose from. I find that when our choices are very limited and I have to fit into the time those options allow, then I have lost time freedom - a few more options and I could have more time. SaaS really offers time freedom with income and that while I can be doing other exciting things like travelling!
