Your beloved fragrance.
Hi gents, as there are so many fragrance lovers in this group with some giant collections, i would like to know that if there's only one fragrance you're stuck with for the rest of your life, like you can't buy anything else but only one, which one is it going to be and WHY?

Clone or Dupe Fragrances
I know that you cannot watch any social media without content about “clones”. I think everyone has a few in their collection and I wanted to give my opinion about the category. Dupes or clone fragrances are at best inspired by or twists on expensive designer or niche fragrances. At worst, they are straight rip offs that are nothing like the original they hope to copy. Although there are some very good clones out there, very few if any match the scent profile they are trying to to imitate. Sorry guys, there is no such thing as a free lunch, Santa Claus doesn’t exist and there are no 1 to 1 clone fragrances. No matter how you feel about the ethics of stealing someone’s intellectual property or marketing and design, there is a huge market for dupe fragrances. What I find funny is seeing people complain a certain note is missing or the atomizer is cheap or that the fragrance doesn’t perform as well as the original. Did you honestly think a $30 fragrance was going to be exactly like a $150 to $300 designer or niche fragrance? If you like a particular expensive fragrance but you don’t have the budget to afford the original, dupe or inspired by fragrances are perfect to fill that need. Just understand that they are probably not being made by a master perfumer, the ingredients are not going to be expensive naturals and more likely lots of aroma chemicals and don’t expect a spot on match to the original fragrance. Take clones for what they are, lower your expectations and enjoy the savings.

Fragrance Question of the day!
There are several different fragrance “houses” out there. Designers, Niche, clones. I own fragrances in all categories as I’m sure we all do. If you had to pick one house, and could only buy from that house, which one would it be? I’ll go first…I would have to go with Parfums De Marly. While they are a niche house they seem to hover in the designer realm as far as mass appealing scents go. They don’t really go too far out of the box in my opinion. They also have something for everyone and every season.
