As in the many hats we all wear. Awake at 4:40 AM my day in a blazer began with a busy rotary meeting planning a series of events including an Eagle Scout project for a young man who is promoting the bench I designed. At noon I met for the 24th year in a row where we raise about 55k each year for Boy Scouts. Frank ( the guy in the orange fuzzy hat) and I are opposing team captains. At 94 he pushes us to do our annual Friends of Scouting campaign. While I put up a big game face, I am not in his league. He owns multiple shopping centers, a sprawling ranch that is more than twice as big as Manhattan Island, the Bank I used to work for And Oh- his dad bankrolled his brother in law’s first little five and dime operation that has er um-grown to say the least. You probably have heard of that guy by the name of Sam Walton. Following that mod day event- I met with my biggest client and then ran an evening rotary meeting followed by meeting with a friend/owner of a business I’ve been trying to help them stay solvent. I am bushed. Just got home after 14 straight running hours.
