Frustrated and confused
I got my lab results back from my appointment last week. They did quite a bit of bloodwork. I haven’t seen my specialist yet to talk about my levels but so far everything is ā€œwithin normal rangeā€. I had my blood taken during my luteal phase. I know that does not mean I’m not experiencing perimenopause (the symptoms alone tell me I am) but to have blood tests come back in ā€œnormal rangesā€ is tough. I really wanted it to validate my symptoms… I have to keep reminding myself that the blood work isn’t everything and that despite being in range a lot of them were on the low end. I’ve been taking my oral progesterone for about 4 nights now but I haven’t seen much improvement. I know it takes time to see big results and if I need to have estrogen and/or testosterone that might balance things out too but I was hoping to a least sleep a bit better. Anyways, I got my period early (surprise!) and have been having a really rough couple of days. Lastly, does anyone have any insight into a CBC-RLM blood test? I have low neutrophils Absolute at 2.03 and high Basophils Absolute at 0.04. My white blood cells were within range but on the low end at 4.12. I did a bit of googling and the most likely explanation is that I’m fighting off a bug or am experiencing allergies due to a histamine issue. So I guess my question is, since histamines can be a problem In Perimenopause, could that be causing these levels to be off? Sorry for the long post! I hope everyone is having a good day! Thanks! 😊

My CBC labs have been off for over a year. My WBC is at 2.8 which is WAY BELOW the normal range and my absolute neutrophil are also below the normal range. It really affects my energy level. But I’ve had every scan and test known to man and they can’t find any reason for these low levels so I’m chalking it up to perimenopause. I am a very active athlete and I eat super clean with lots of protein and other than all the other perimenopause symptoms I don’t have any other red flags that would point towards any illness. And I haven’t been recovering from any virus for over a year to explain these results. Gotta be hormones. I think my body is just freaking out.
Collecting data - optimal estrodiol level
Out of curiosity - I know we are all different and such but I’m super curious what your all feeling best at with estradiol levels, like what level did you settle at that made you feel you were happy and healthy and optimal?

I have the same question. In 49 and still menstruating. I’ve started TRT injectible and oral progesterone but no estradiol yet. My current lab was 147 and I’m so afraid my provider still won’t prescribe estradiol but I think I need it! I can’t sleep, I have horrible body aches, and I’m gaining belly fat like crazy! My appt is in 1 week and I’m gonna fight for it!
Don’t tell me ā€œyou’re fine, you’ll get through thisā€! 🤬
Forgot to introduce myself. 49 yr old mom of 2 adult children. I’m pretty sure I’ve been experiencing perimenopause for 3 years. Thought I had wan autoimmune disease. I Love working out and strength training, I use it for mental health and of course to look and feel good. I got to a point where I not only lack motivation, but can’t recover properly and feel weak and fatigued. This is soul crushing to me! Everyone keeps telling me I’m just getting older and it’s normal. Nope! It doesn’t change over night like that! I hate not feeling like myself and not feeling good, all while doing all the things that are supposed to make me feel good. I’m not gonna roll over and take it! If I can do something about this, why wouldn’t I??? So don’t tell me this is normal and every woman gets through it and I will too! …ok, rant over. Thanks for listening.
BHRT with fibroid
Hi all, I’m new here. I’ve been monitoring hormones for almost 1 year. I had to rule out a few other odd health things before beginning HRT. I’m now ready to do so and found out I have a very small fibroid that has never given me trouble. My naturopath says she doesn’t think I should take estrogen since it can feed fibroids šŸ™„. I’ve been deep diving and found that other women have been using estrogen even with fibroids. Does anyone here have experience with this? TIA
