Happy 4Th Of July Everyone. What Did Every One Do Today? Did you work on your business or did you go out and have fun?

My goal when I started this UGC journey was to quit my retail job after Christmas. Never did I actually think that would be possible so quickly. For context, I’m a mother based in Georgia and I started UGC in late November of 2025. In December, I made $600 and I went through a steep learning curve with UGC as I made all the rookie mistakes. It wasn’t life changing money but it was proof of concept that this could lead to something January 2026, I told myself I was going to quit my part time retail job and go all into UGC. And just in the first 2 weeks of January, I contracted $3k in UGC gigs!! And then just this past week, I landed a $2.5k monthly retainer as a UGC Strategist!!! My goal is to do consistent $5k months and then eventually it would be a dream to hit $10k/m. Just yesterday I turned in my two weeks notice from my retail job. Let this be proof that you can do hard things. You can create the life you’ve been praying for. You can make yourself the main character of your own life again. Be vulnerable, tell your story, stay honest. You never know what connections you can make simply for being who you are. It has been an emotional roller coaster to say the least, but I couldn’t be more proud of myself and grateful to have the support of this community! I have a lot of content that I've used on Tiktok to try and promote products & I'm wondering how many seconds or minutes should your UGC Videos be on your Portfolio?

I see a lot of sample videos around the one minute mark. I read that 30 seconds is about as long as you should go to hold the attention of potential brand gigs. Is this true? Is there a hard and fast rule about what length a video should be to guarantee best results.
