Hey ya’ll!! Two weeks ago we hit with ab big milestone the agency!!! (ugc-world.com) Most people would celebrate that milestone, and yet I feel an intense sense of dread.... We've basically grown this from zero into a BIG company from scratch with Gloria while traveling around Southeast Asia. Despite this, I have to announce that I'm taking a step back…. In case you're wondering though; no, I'm not leaving the agency. No, I'm not stepping down as the founder/CEO. And no, I'm not flying to Bali to sip piña coladas on the beach and "find myself” ;) What I will be doing is joining the team! I'm becoming a UGC creator from absolute scratch while still running everything + documenting the entire journey from $0 to $100K/month as a creator!! Yes. 100k. “But Alex, why on earth would you shoot for 100k?? That’s crazy!”. I know! A bunch of our creators and ALL of our coaches have reached at least 10k and then 20k and even 30k/mo with UGC! So setting a similar goal would not benefit EVERYBODY, would it? So I feel like this is an absolute MOONSHOT I am going for here, which would help ALL of our creators, which makes me excited! Let me tell you why I came up with this whole thing… The problem I couldn't ignore anymore: We've placed hundreds of creators with brands over the last year. Built systems that work, scaled operations to multiple six figures monthly, secured partnerships with some of the biggest platforms in the space. There's just one embarrassing gap in all of this: I don't actually know how to do UGC myself. I know the business side inside and out. Operations, sales, team management, brand acquisition, campaign infrastructure. I can close deals, build systems, manage people, scale revenue. What I can't do is film a 30-second skincare video without feeling like an idiot. I've never pitched a brand as a creator, never built a portfolio from nothing, never gone through the actual grind of making content day after day. If you look at my Instagram right now you'll see I have exactly two posts on it…. Two.
