Spotlight Use Case Idea: The 24/7 AI Concierge (For Hotels & Airbnbs)
Picture this... It's 9 PM on a Tuesday. A family has just checked into your client's beautiful boutique hotel after a long travel day. The front desk is unstaffed for the night. The parents are exhausted, the kids are hungry, and they have a million simple questions: - "What's the Wi-Fi password?" - "What time does the pool open tomorrow?" - "Is there a place nearby that delivers pizza this late?" They try calling the front desk, but it goes to voicemail. Frustrated, they end up scrolling through Yelp, feeling a little lost and disconnected. Their first impression isn't magical; it's a hassle. Now, what if you could CLONE the perfect, all-knowing hotel concierge and put them in every single room, ready to help 24/7? With the Spotlight feature, you can. Here’s the "magic trick" you can set up for them: 1. You grab all the expert knowledge. You ask the hotel owner or manager for two things:* The Logistics: A simple list of all the common questions (Wi Fi, checkout times, pool hours, parking info, etc.).* The Local Secrets: This is the gold. Ask them for their personal, opinionated recommendations. Not just a list of restaurants, but why they love them. "Go to 'The Corner Slice' for pizza, but only if you like thin crust. It's loud and perfect for families. For a quiet, romantic Italian dinner, go to 'Bella's Table' instead." 2. You create a new Spotlight page. You feed all that info—both the boring logistics and the priceless local secrets—into the AI in the "Sources" tab. 3. You create a simple QR code. Then you tell your client, "Let's put this on a beautiful little card on the nightstand in every room. The card will say: 'Welcome! Your Personal Concierge is Ready to Help. Scan Me.'" That's it. That's the whole kiosk. Now, that same tired family scans the code. They land on the AI Concierge Spotlight and just start asking questions: "What's the Wi-Fi password?" "We need to find a good spot for breakfast with kids tomorrow." "Is there a park or playground within walking distance?"

Spotlight Use Case Idea: the "Care & Warranty" Portal 🤯
Here’s another Spotlight idea to show your clients you're thinking about their entire business, not just their marketing. This one is all about improving their customer experience after the job is done. I call it the AI-Powered "Care & Warranty" Portal. The Client's Problem You're About to Solve: Think about your client who's a roofer or an HVAC installer. They finish a big job, send an invoice, and get paid. Awesome! But what happens a week later? Or a month later? The customer has questions: - "Hey, how do I register my warranty for that new A/C unit?" - "What was the brand of shingles you used again?" - "Can you remind me how often to change this filter?" - "I need to leave you guys a 5-star review, where do I do that?" These questions often turn into phone calls or emails that pull the business owner away from their next paying job. It's a small hassle, but it adds up. The Solution: A One Stop Shop for Happy Customers. With Spotlight, you can create a simple, powerful page that handles all of this automatically. Here’s how you'd set it up for that HVAC installer client (or any other service company): 1. Create a New Spotlight. You use their company logo and colors. You might title it the "Main Street HVAC Customer Hub." 2. Train the AI. You feed the AI all the post-service info. You add details on all their product warranties, common maintenance tips ("Change your filter every 90 days"), and links to the user manuals for the units they install. 3. Build the Page. The page is simple and clean. It includes: Now, when a job is finished, the client doesn't just send an invoice. They send a single link to this Spotlight page. The customer can pay their bill with one click. Then, a few weeks later, when they wonder about the warranty, they can just pull up the same link and ask the AI, "What's the warranty on my new furnace?" and get an instant, accurate answer. Why Your Clients Will Love This: - It Makes Them Look Incredibly Professional: This level of post-sale support is unheard of from most local businesses. It builds immense trust and makes them look like a top-tier company. - It Saves Them Time (Again!): It stops the endless follow-up questions and lets them focus on what they do best. - It Gets Them More Reviews: By making it super easy for happy customers to leave a review right after they've paid, you'll naturally increase their positive ratings on Google.

Yes, I agree, please keep these use case ideas coming. Even when we see issues that may make them a bit tricky to implement, the collective brains here will come up with solutions. Plus if we showcase possibilities to prospects that provide immense value to them, then they should appreciate that it doesn't come cheap to setup but will be worth the investment.

I am still on a bit of a catch-up with trainings, as I was travelling and lost track of timezones. So I only managed to watch the training on the video creation last night (can't remember the name of the software ... Something Gen?!?); anyway I thought it would be brilliant for a client I was seeing today and he's really keen. I think there's other stuff that I am learning here that will be good for him too, but getting some videos made was already a top priority and this is going to make it so much easier. I expect to be able to get him to do the voice recording early next week and meanwhile I'll work on the content ... so hopefully we'll get the copy and pasting done next week and get his (and my) first one done.

https://aiconsultanttemplate-99kate.lovable.app/ - haven't worked out how to put it on my own domain yet. I have my own domain katedavies.co - so next step is to get it live there.
