@Marco Kozlowski After 2 realtime sessions of working on ABC openers, I'm finally starting to feel comfortable with the process. This having studied from way back in Dec24. Thanks! Even tho I make a mistake and sent the commercial opener to a residential, I'm still happy with the fact that I got 8 responses/25 emails (25%). Really looking forward to the 3 day this weekend!

@Marco Kozlowski Sent 4 openers, got two responses. Even tho I can do the math (Cat 1, 2, 3), still seriously challenged with making offers. The problem for me is not knowing how to structure the finances. I’m looking at 2 million-dollar+ properties with good returns but no idea how to move correctly on them.

Processing: Tasks vs Outcomes I’m guilty, in the past, of making to-do task lists and then getting only three or four tasks completed. Then making another list to complete the tasks left over from the first list, and so on, ad nauseum. Then, after hearing Craig Manning’s TED talk, I had an epiphany. My focus was off: I was spending too much time thinking about the outcomes and not staying focused on the tasks leading to those outcomes. Once I switched, my focus—especially where it involved processing properties—narrowed considerably. Gone were the daydreams; thinking about what I was going to do with the property, or how I was going to invest the profits after the deal closed. Orienting yourself—narrowing your focus—to a series of tasks rather than a broad spectrum of outcomes makes all the difference.
