The transformative power of Meditation 🧘‍♂️
Stop Using Meditation Like a Hack: The Practice That Actually Transforms You. I wanted to talk about what meditation really is (and what it isn’t): not a one-minute technique to optimize your busy life, and not a tool for chasing specific experiences. I share how I started with Transcendental Meditation at 19 to escape suffering and seek enlightenment, and how my first enlightenment teacher reframed meditation in the most helpful way—especially the idea that half of our being resides outside space and time. Why sustained practice (ideally an hour a day, consistently) creates real change by giving access to deeper stillness, balance, intuition, creativity, and a direct connection to peace and what I call your true self—connected with God and unmoving. This clip is taken from our most recent podcast on Meditation and Enlightened Communication. Watch the full episode here. And as always, leave your thoughts, comments or questions below. Your engagement IS the heart of our community ❤️ Love ya! Justin

Hi Justin, thanks for the recording, but what exactly is the point? How do you meditate? What exactly do you do when you meditate? Just sit with your eyes closed? I've done guided meditations in the past, but I didn't really make any progress with them. Now I can't find the peace to sit and do nothing anymore; I get really restless and uncomfortable. Does guided meditation become a kind of distraction?
Holy Sh*t! Was I in a Cult? 👀
As I am sure you know, in my last video where I called for higher standards in our spiritual communities I received hundreds of positive comments. Buuut, people also said "Look to yourself before you judge others". Fair enough, I thought - so here is a critical look at my first teacher and the organisation I was involved with for more than 10 years. Its the first time I speak publicly about this so I am interested to hear what you think. Love, Justin

Hi Justin, first of all, thank you for letting me in...it's wonderful to be here. My written English isn't as good as my speaking, but I'll do my best. I'm Karin, almost 60 years old, and I'm from Rotterdam. I came across your videos on YouTube and found so much connection. I've also shopped a lot in the spiritual world and participated in many ceremonies, from cacao to ayahuasca. I think there's a lot of deception and ego in spiritual land. Not that ego is bad, but ego needs to be elevated to a higher level that's for the highest good. Regarding gurus, I often wonder who they would be if everything around them collapsed. How good they could be with themselves then. I think they thrive on the attention/energy they receive from others; that's what makes them "great." But how good could they be with themselves if all that collapsed?

@Justin Peach Hi Justin, thanks for your reply. I personally think New Age is a huge deception. The primal Gnosis has a lot of knowledge/wisdom, and discovering something new is always wonderful... I'm curious...
