Can you guys review my copy???
It isn’t for an actual client of mine. I just wanted to practice and actually start writing. (This is one of my first pieces of copy) I’d love the feedback and I’m open to all ways of improving. Thanks a lot guys, here’s the link. https://docs.google.com/document/d/108dTuNbllANB4xSjFr_7mIi-vB_OGRqzZI_-P79Yq6o/edit

Yoo! your copy “Lacks intrigue.” The copy you wrote roughly comes under Problem-solution lead but you have also amalgamated story lead into it. Stick to one. Who is this copy intend for? do they know you or they are brand new? You can’t sell to a unaware customer. Lure them into the funnel one step a time. I like your S.L. You should never use the word “This” when talking about your product (says Kyle Milligan $7.1 million copywriter.). So try to avoid it. P.S - I would recommend read Great Leads Chapters 4-9 you’ll get to know about different types of leads.
Week 1 ☑️ - 12 Week Hard!
I am thinking I’ll update these once a week. Cause doing these daily doesn’t add much to the community (in general) anyways… Hello, I have completed the first week successfully. And, I can confidently say I’ve learned more this week than in the past month. I found out research is very important. If you do proper research, 70% of your work is already done. What does the product actually do? How to use it? Who is your customer? What are their pain point? What keeps them awake in the night? In the market, What are the products which promise the same thing? How this product is different from them? What is the voice of your prospect? What is the awareness level of your customers? Answer these and you have already completed 70% of the work. Staring at a blank page, can be difficult. That’s where your swipe file comes into the play, there is a saying “you don’t have to reinvent the wheel”. So look at your swipe file for your inspiration, whenever you are stuck. Learn from good COPY don’t copy it. WE are COPYWRITERS not COPYCAT! Tomorrow onwards I’ll start my outreach journey. Vehicle - Upwork and cold dm’s on Instagram.
Critique and review my copy
If anyone can review my copy that'd be great. I would appreciate it if you could see how it flows, if it's choppy, and if it makes any sense. The copy would be for a self-improvement program. It's one of my first-ever pieces of copy, so I apologize in advance if it's trash. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1UEf9tzr1GKggmk_7bKUX3GSoj-slf1ZsElLGB3_qsBU/edit?usp=sharing

I have marked/suggested some changes in the google docs. Overall, good copy.
A quick thought
Extremely high percentage of people spend their lives watching other people do the things they want to be doing. - @LogFitz6 (twitter)
Heard of the "copywriter's podcast" ?
Hello everyone, I'm case if you don't know about the copywriter's podcast, lemme tell you, it's a podcast where the world's best copywriting coach David Garfinkel teaches various copywriting techniques and also there are multiple a-list guests for more advice , it's actually really valuable . However, my problem is , I spend at least 2 hours a day learning from it, making notes of the episodes and I think that reading books on copywriting could be more beneficial. I've watched more than 50 episodes and they were loaded with value however the last few episodes were not that great, should I stop listening to it and start reading books during that time ?

Make a swipe file. Find 3-4 spec pieces per day and rewrite them and ask your self is it good? If yes, then why it is good? You’ll soon pick up the basic structure of copy. After doing that. Go to ChatGPT give it a prompt and make imaginary products and write copy for those products. Or, you can search for people who you would like to work for. Check their funnel. And try to write copy for their products. You can even pitch your copy to them as your portfolio.
