Little question
Hi guys I have a question:) Does narrowing down to a highly specialized niche help in building a strong reputation and attracting clients faster, or is it better for beginners to start with a broader approach? I mean..... You focus on writing emails for a specific service within a specific niche. What do you think?

Would I sound needy?
Hey everyone, I reached out to an online coach via cold email at the beginning of the week and got a response back yesterday. She basically said that she would love to work with me but recently had to let go of her copywriter because she doesn't have the money for it in her business right now. She told me to reach back out to her at the end of March so we could work together. - I definitely will do this. But I am now wondering if I should email her again and say that I would love to work for her for free and learn about her business and possibly get a testimonial but I don't want to sound needy and possibly ruin the chance I have with her in the future. Also, if I do this I would have to do it soon while I am still partially in her mind, but again I don't want to sound needy to her. Looking for some advice All thoughts are welcome ! Thanks everyone!

No it will not, this could build a great relationship in the future. Tell her that you’d love to work for free for a referral or to “test new content ideas”. That way you both win. She gets free content while letting you see the results

Try using a formula. A lot of copy is simplified into a formula. When you’re trying to paint the picture for them, be more specific. You want them to actually imagine using your product.
They said I like it...what next?
Yo guys...hope yall doing great now lets say i outreached to someone and i sent them a free value and they liked it and the said something along the lines of "this is really great, i like it" what to do next like how to get them today or how can i take it to the next step were we start talking about the business

ask them about their business. People love talking about themselves.
Genuine Question?
So, I've been researching copywriting for about 2/3 weeks now & thought the business model would fit me perfectly. I'm decent at writing, love writing & wouldn't mind putting full attention and time towards getting clients and writing for them. My only problem is I'm so lost on what to learn/research. I have done a lot of research on emails & how to write good emails, Have even wrote about 5-6 practice emails so far on different niches. I just don't know what else I need to learn to actually bring my clients results when I sign my first one. I know about sales pages & I know alot more things but what/how should I be practicing these things? Should I just start cold outreaching for clients & learn while working for them? Should I offer them free work until I can bring them results? If someone can please let me know where to look or how to find the next step after learning how to write emails/sales pages reply back and I will take any information! I'm young & hungry and have the drive to work as hard as I can till I bring results... I just need to know what to learn and where to learn it!!!

You could go writing for free or going just based on a commission type of gig. There have been many cases where people line their first client on retainer and commission. But learning for free can let you test your copy out to see what works and what doesn’t.

Im 19 year old college student trying to set myself up for life. I’m putting all my focus onto copywriting, primarily direct response.
