I just tried out my first macarons yesterday!

Not too bad, but I need to fix a couple things…I love the height and feet development, and especially excited that they FINALLY “popped” off the mat! That said, I definitely over cooked them by a couple min. I went to 18min and a few of them still felt wobbly so I went a couple more. Next time I’ll pull at 18. The shell top was also kinda frail-would that be from under beaten merengue or from the over bake?

Guys... I've made so many failed batches. Not really failed because they were normal looking just slightly hollow. But today... for the first time ever... I've got full shells. Finally. I know you guys are about the only people who would understand my happiness. Well besides my hubs. He is my biggest cheerleader 💓 💕 he knows im persistent and maybe a little stubborn 😅 but that stubbornness actually paid off. They are full, chewy, and taste amazing. So proud of myself on this one! 🥹🥰🙌

New here! Love making macarons but wanted to get them perfect and learn some new flavors! I just recently finished these chocolate Macs filled with a whipped chocolate ganache and a strawberry jam in the center.
