What’s up fam 💪
Been working behind the scenes tightening things up, content, structure, and direction. The focus stays the same: - simplify the gym - remove overthinking - build something you’ll actually use Less noise. More clarity. More consistency. Appreciate everyone here who’s staying consistent and asking the right questions. Comment down below! ⬇️ What is one thing you guys are working on this week?! Build the gym. Keep working hard. 💪☘️

I’ve always liked the Pareto Principle: 80% of outputs come from 20% of inputs. In a home gym case, 80% of gains can be made with only 20% of gym equipment out there, only the essentials
Pretty excited about this one!
I’ve owned a few PowerBlock sets over the years (Sport 50s and Pro 50s), and this version honestly feels like a big upgrade. The handle is thicker, feels premium, and the stand is way better than I expected, that grippy texture and step-in design is legit. Do you need 100s? Not at all. But for anyone leveling up or looking for that next step in their home setup, these might be worth checking out. If you have questions about expandable dumbbells or different PowerBlock models, drop them below, happy to help however I can. ☘️ Keep building. Keep working hard.

I was close to buying these before going with IM and did a lot of research. Knurled handle, urethane coating for silence, and an overlooked quality is that the joints aren’t welded. I’ve seen PB videos for the older design style where people who’ve dropped them and those little welds break. Things I didn’t like are the price (BF would have helped some), and the kettlebell attachment. It’s cool you can turn these into KB’s but they do not function like a KB at all due to the shape. Still a nice premium set though. As for not needing 100’s, I think it’s better to give room for growth. And I guarantee you can get pretty close to that doing dumbbell bench press

@Mark Maguire Good so far. I started your challenge but kinda fell off. I’ve been studying for a second degree at a university on top of work, plus with everything new I’ve just been having fun with freelance workouts and “whatever I feel like doing that day” ha
Happy thanksgiving everyone

Other than turkey, my favorite is probably scalloped potatoes

5 days of exercise, 4 lifting + 1 cardio day. Thanksgiving is no excuse especially having 2 days off Thursday and Friday.
Wednesday Check-In, What Are You Working On Today?
Mid-week already. Momentum matters. I’ve been tightening up our next challenge behind the scenes and keeping the training simple: clean reps, good sweat, no wasted time. Now I want to hear from YOU. What’s the one thing you’re focusing on today? Could be: - A workout - A small win - A habit you’re dialing in - Even something outside the gym you’re proud of Drop it below. Mid-week effort sets the tone for everything else. Let’s keep showing up.

@Mark Maguire I like it a lot. It uses the same wind mechanism from the Concept 2 and Rogue rowers. It’s smooth like the Rogue echo bike with no mechanical chain, all band design. I was between the C2 bike erg and Rogue bike but ultimately chose the C2 because it sits like a regular bike (like Pelaton, Schwinn, etc), and it’s half the weight of the Rogue bike. My gym is in the basement and having something that’s only 68 lbs compared to 125 lbs is a big deal. Also people seemed to love the PM5 display in the rowing community and it’s known as the gold standard for rowing machines, and this is basically that in bike form. All in all I really like it a lot and it’s a great cardio tool

@Mark Maguire Peloton’s are really nice but those were out of my price range! Hard for me to compare
