Ì thought I would make some little toys on the 22. My favourite is the hermit. I am on holiday for two weeks tomorrow so will be off grid for the main.
Welcome a new Knitting machine
I received today my new knitting machine, and I am happy that I can try my new machine. It's a 48 needles Jamit . Small inconvenience , she don't have a counter of rows, but my husband will install one.

@Michelle Childers beautiful 😍
I'm missing creating!!
The crafting statement is so true! 😆..... It applies to everything I do, I lose things all the time. Yesterday I put an apron on that I'd made that has lots of pockets so I could keep scissors, wallpaper scraper, measuring tape and a pencil on me. It was very useful, I had everything in one place and to hand to tackle the decorating. It all went really well until I took the apron off and placed it somewhere..... I still haven't found it so now all those things are MIA 😆😆 I'm really missing creating things, but as I'm tired and achy after doing decorating stuff, I have neither the energy or wherewithal to sit and do anything. Plus the bigger machines and most yarn is tucked away upstairs. My arthritic hands are really suffering with the labour intensive painting, sanding etc. The only thing I could do is get the caydo out and make some pretty icord for my stash .... That might scratch the creative itch, and I can work off a tray and small folding table so.... I think that's what I'll do tonight 😊 Have a great Wednesday 😊

Ever wondered about different wool fibre?
I thought I’d start this thread to let you know about different wool yarn and what it is like to use. I’m going to post on this thread about different yarns. First yarn of the week is : 🧶 Merino Wool (The Soft Superstar) • Comes from Merino sheep, originally from Spain, now mostly Australia/New Zealand. • Fibers are only 17–22 microns thick — thinner than a human hair (which is ~70 microns)! That’s why it feels buttery-soft, never itchy. • It can absorb 30% of its weight in moisture before feeling wet — way more than regular wool. • Used in high-end activewear: it wicks sweat, fights odor, and regulates temperature better than almost any synthetic.
