There's one issue with doing instagram cold outreach as a freelancer, and it's the reason why it stops a lot of people from progressing and getting clients no matter how many messages they send. Of course, there's other reasons why your instagram outreach may not be working, But this is one of the greatest issues. A great issue that you can't really control, but can try get around. I know this because I've done hundreds of DMS, got clients doing it. When your doing outreach, you are really on the backfoot. In other words, your coming to the prospect. It's VERY cold. But what this also means is, they look down on you, they know why your outreaching, they can see through what your doing. And so your authority and status is VERY low in the prospects eyes. Which means even if you do things like high value outreach upfront, they won't appreciate it because that's just not the framing their in, and you will get discouraged very very quickly. Problem is aswell, If you do high value upfront, You can't do volume, and volume is very key to outreach. And with high value upfront, you cannot do volume because your capped by samples and how long it takes you to get that stuff ready. If your on the back-foot in outreach, Don't put yourself on the backfoot even more. Increase your status when your reaching out to them. As soon as they see your profile and they see you eating pizza or a mirror pic of you, they are not going to trust in what you say. Your personal brand can help increase your status a bit more. But with outreach, your status is low. There's lot's of other reasons as to why your outreach might not be working, but this is one of the greatest issues.
