Three weeks ago I signed up for bootcamp, just over 2 weeks to go and Brentwood here we go! Are some of you waiting for your bootcamp? How have you been doing since you decided to take action? What have I been up to then….. Modules - Working through the modules just at 50% so far-trying to take it all in and spending though time to let the lessons sink in - I’ve got a shit memory but it’s starting to stick. Every couple of days I go back to mindset and check in with myself. Still struggling on a strategy but gonna make sure by bootcamp it’s 100% there and a company name is already decided. AFL community - I will try and post every day on here cos I believe in forums like this and how they can really work at building relationships, confidence and a sense is comradery. It’s about what you put in so if you ain’t using it then u won’t get the value so I believe I have an important part to do what I can to show my support. Books - read three already and set myself a goal of 200 pages a week. Why? Cos they are reinforcing knowledge, creating reflections and adding to my learning. Podcasts - set a goal of listening to as many as I can in the ‘dead time of my day” sat in the car, walking the dogs or just if the moment takes me. Why? Re affirmation and galvanising my thinking and topping up the believe bucket! Office - we are fortunate to have a spare bedroom so converting into an office space - I thought is would be good to have a physical representation of our journey - bit much in there yet but next couple of weeks it will come alive! Trying something new - it’s not parachuting or rock climbing but I’ve always wanted to try calisthenics. I’ve been doing CrossFit for the last 6 years (I defo don’t have a ripped body before you ask)🤣 so downloaded an app today and will give it a go and I’ve also changed my gym to tray another type of exercise - my family go there so I am now enriching some additional time with Mrs Baines, my 2 stepdaughters and others which is amazing!

Derrick Harvey Hi all, I joined the Academy at the Specialist level on Wednesday 30th April 2025 at the bootcamp. My background is in property management and I have managed properties for a number of organisations over the years. My passion is financial education,property and health and fitness. My goal is to help others with their financial education to achieve their goals. I am looking forward to meeting you all and achieving my goals.

Happy Easter Monday 🐣 Hi I’ve just joined the group this morning! I’am new in property and very keen to learn about commercial development and hopefully get a successful portfolio together discovering the fundamentals and how to apply them in my property journey.
