For those of you that want to go deeper into emotional awarness!!
You can train hard, eat clean, and sleep 8 hours — and still feel like your body is working against you. Because stress isn't just a feeling. It lives in your body. It shows up as the tension you can't stretch out, the sleep that doesn't restore you, the weight that won't move, the energy that's gone by 2pm. You can't out-train it and you can't out-supplement it. We touch on this here. But it deserves its own room. So I started a second group — Rise & Release — focused entirely on emotions, stress, and actually processing what you've been carrying instead of pushing through it. We're holding a special call inside that group TODAY: 🕔 5:00 PM MT / 4:00 PM PT / 6:00 PM CT / 7:00 PM ET The group is free to join, and I'd love to have you on this one. 👉 https://www.skool.com/rise-and-release-6325 Join the group, and I'll see you on the call in a few hours.

I wish my work schedule allowed me to join some of these calls....
The Problem Isn’t Just Losing Weight. It’s What You Lose Along the Way.
If you're on a GLP-1 right now... or you've got a prescription sitting on your counter you haven't filled yet... or your sister/coworker/best friend keeps telling you to "just get the shot"... I am not here to shame you. ❤️ Some of the strongest women in this community tried one first. I don't judge a single one of them. When you've been fighting your own body for ten years, you'll try anything. I get it. But you deserve more than a headline. You deserve to know what's actually happening. Here's the question almost nobody asks: The scale moves. Fine. But where is that weight coming from? 🤔 When your intake drops that fast, that hard, your body doesn't politely pick only the fat. It takes muscle too. And muscle is the most metabolically active tissue you have. It's your engine. So you lose weight, and you lose the thing that burns it. Then you stop. Your appetite comes back. But now you're trying to maintain a lighter body with less muscle and a slower metabolism than you had before you ever started. That's why so many women gain it back. And then gain more. It's not a willpower problem. It's arithmetic. 📉 Now here's the part I really want you to hear: Your hormones are NOT the root cause of your stubborn weight. 🔥 Your hormones are a scoreboard. They're an effect. They're reading out four things: 😴 How you're sleeping 😮‍💨 How you're handling stress ⏰ WHEN you're eating 🍽️ How MUCH you're actually eating That's it. That's the whole game. And notice what I did NOT say. I didn't say starve. I didn't say fast. I didn't say cut calories to nothing. That's the exact same lever the drugs are pulling, just with more suffering. Eating enough of the right thing at the right time is what turns the fat burners back on. 💪 I've watched this happen over a thousand times since 2015. Fix those four inputs and a woman's body starts producing a completely different hormonal picture within weeks. Not because we drugged it. Because we removed the interference. And if you've already been on a GLP-1, you are not starting over. We just rebuild the engine and give your body back what it was missing.

I tried a GLP-1 when they first were available but after a few weeks couldn't deal with the side effects. My stomach hurt constantly. Since then I've tried everything under the sun - fasting, paleo, keto, macros, more cardio. weight training, calorie restriction, no carb, etc. My takeaway, lost a few lbs but gained them back + a few more when I stopped. They just aren't sustainable. Really looking forward to this reset and learning new habits that will stick with me.
Why Whole Foods Beat Supplements Almost Every Time
I want to tell you about a number that changed how I think about supplements. Four percent. That's how much magnesium your body actually absorbs from magnesium oxide, the form in most cheap supplements on the shelf. Researchers measured it at roughly 4% fractional absorption, versus 28 to 33 percent for the better forms. So you buy the bottle. You take the pill. And 96% of it walks right back out of you. But here's the part that really gets me. Back in the 90s, scientists noticed people who ate a lot of beta-carotene-rich vegetables had less lung cancer. So they thought, let's put beta-carotene in a pill and give it to smokers. Two massive trials. Tens of thousands of people. The result: more lung cancer, not less. One trial found 18% more cases. The other found 28% more. Same nutrient. Isolated in a capsule. Opposite outcome. Because a carrot isn't beta-carotene. A carrot is beta-carotene plus fiber, plus fat-soluble cofactors, plus a hundred compounds we haven't even named yet, all showing up together, in the right ratio, in a package your body has spent two hundred thousand years learning to read. The pill is a word. The food is the whole sentence. Your body isn't broken. It's not deficient in a supplement. It's waiting on real food showing up at the right time, in the right amount. That's the whole game. That's why we do what we do.
