What color flute would you choose?
If you could design the flute of your dreams, what would its characteristics be and what COLOR would it be if it could ANY color... besides the obvious precious metals?? My purple flute doesn't resonate quite as beautifully in the upper register as my Pearl flute! But it seems appropriate for this song: Colors Flying! I'm grateful to have it for making music while my fav flute is in the shop. If you could have any color what would you choose?!

Practice today 6/16/26
Just want to share:) Would love to hear what everyone else is practicing. Today, I practiced high notes, I worked on trying to stay chill and relaxed on a variety of scales, mostly B and Bb. I played along to For All Our Relations song. I worked on It Is Well in many different keys on random youtube videos.

Yesterday I did Atomic flute warm up in F major. Then started to improv ohord backing tracks . I trying to do it without looking at written chord progression. C,A minor, F, G. I got recruited to playing in a orchestra,choir etc at a Church for 1 Sunday end of this month. . Never done the contemporary praise songs before. Happy to say the you tube version in different key, so using my skill to play songs in different keys. Not improv. It is a first for me. Looking forward to my first rehearsal. Improv has increased my skills and confidence. Come along ways in one year! Lots If concerts in June. Then slows down.

@Sheri Hudgins He does not have new ones , I think all scales are covered. It really has helped my tone . He warms up the whole range of scale. I think its on SK if not its on YouTube.

Amazing Grace Bluegrass Improv
I love Bluegrass and had a lot of fun with this. I liked playing along with the fiddle at the end and I would improve support on some of the notes and of course dynamics could be better:)
