The exposure therapy must be working, because I enjoyed playing improv in the park today. The guys working are used to me being there and waved at me. There were some moms there with their little ones. I liked some of my pauses and chromatic scales and didn’t like some of the notes were a bit out of tune and I wish I would have had a stronger last note one the slow song.

I found this on YouTube to be used for improv for guitar. It maybe copy right. I am using this back track for my personal use to practice improv and develop only solo . I used it for flute. I had a friend passed away and I was sad to being grateful for knowing him. Trying to play with emotion.I like the back track. the improv practice. Did not catch the chords changes 100%. I would do more using emotion with playing with more contrast more specifically playing soft. I notices a couple if notes I could have tuned better. After listening more carefully I want to play more on opening up the high notes they sound a little tight. Do more of the melody line and matching the lower middle registers.Cheerleader says keep doing it!

I’ll be doing two hymns in the key of G. I have never performed before and I am totally blind, so I don’t know if there’s anything I should be aware of as far as what to do how to stand other than how I stand to practice or anything like that. Any practical or emotional support tips would be wonderful.
