How to get clients to rave about you
When you have clients raving about you, they’ll be sharing your work and doing the marketing for you through referrals and also repeat business So how do you make this happen? Well, From when they land on your website to the artwork delivery and even after that, you need to deliver an amazing and unforgettable experience, not just amazing photos or prints/artwork. How do you do this? Think about how you can make your client feel special and appreciated. It doesn’t need to cost you much. It could be a handwritten note with their artwork delivery, a pack of homemade treats for their dog after their session, a special letter board welcoming them when they come to the studio. These little things will make a difference. I’d love to know what other ideas you have that can elevate your client experience. Let’s chat below.

I like to offer excitement texts. Sending texts before the shoot to get them all excited. I also like sending excited texts to them as I am editing their session telling them how I am loving editing their session and how many gorgeous images they will have to choose from. I also try to remember things they tell me, so like if they say their daughter has a maths exam coming up when I am at the pre-shoot consult, I will ask at their purchase appointment how their daughter did at their exam. I gift wrap my artwork for my clients, and I put in "how to care for your artwork" cards inside. I also give them locally made sugar cookies that have my logo on them. I follow up in a few weeks time to ask them for a google review. I also offer my clients referral print credit. Each client they refer, will receive $150.00 print credit at their referred clients' purchase appointment. With every client they refer, it just keeps adding up. 4 clients referred =$600! They can use this print credit for their existing shoot (maybe they wanted more digital files or they really wanted to add a wall art, but couldn't afford it) OR, they could use it for print credit for their next shoot.
