13,900 members here.... and one awkward realization
So I've got almost 14,000 members in this free Skool community. Won the Skool Games three times. And built the entire thing with the idea that: Generosity is my growth strategy And I'm about to say something that makes me sound like a guy who just discovered fire lol. Here goes: Free is wonderful ... and I was asking it to do a job it was never built for. Let me explain. For years my model was the one everybody runs. Free group. Post daily. Go live. Nurture everybody. Be helpful. Eventually a few of the warm ones book a call and some of those say yes. And it WORKED. (I'm not knocking it. I still have the group. I still love the group.) But here's the thing. A free community is amazing at a few things: 1. Getting people in the door. 2. Letting them hang out and get to know you. 3. Building trust over time. 4. Simple path for all your free resources Know what it's NOT built for? Deciding and activating. Nobody walks into a free group and decides anything. They lurk. They like a post. They "save it for later." (Later never comes. Classic.) So you end up doing what I did ... using sales calls as the decision mechanism. But you end up on calls mostly with lovely people who were never going to buy. And meanwhile you're posting every day for thousands of folks just to book a couple calls with lookie loos. Anyway - About 5 months ago I tried something that felt weird at first. I kept the free group exactly where it was ... And added a low ticket workshop community. Low ticket. one time payments. Workshop Every week. Real work happening live. People pay a little to be in the room. That's it. Here's what happened: The people who paid showed up. (Shocking, I know.) They showed up ready to decide. Because they'd already decided something small when they paid. The one time payment paid for the ads. So traffic stopped being a thing I was scared of and became a thing I could predict. And the workshop is where I make my weekly offers.

Maybe this is you...? Chat-Based Sales Rep (Remote, Part-Time to Full-Time) Are you the type of person who loves a good conversation? Do you actually enjoy following up with people? Are you the friend everyone comes to when they're stuck making a decision? Do you have experience selling high ticket services or products? If yes, read on. Here's what we do. We help experienced coaches and consultants get out of the grind and build simple, profitable online businesses.. Most of our clients are smart, experts at their craft and feeling burnt out. Your job is to help them see a simpler path and help them decide if we're the right fit. That's it. We sell almost entirely by chat. No cold calling. No pressure tactics. No bro-sales energy. Our whole philosophy is that sales is service: listen deeply, care genuinely, and only invite people in when it's actually right for them. If that sounds like a breath of fresh air, keep reading. You'd make a great fit for this role if... You're good at: - Building real rapport over DM and text (Instagram, Skool, email) - Asking great questions and listening more than you talk - Following up consistently without being annoying - Staying organized across a lot of open conversations - Taking coaching and applying it fast Extra awesome if... - You've sold coaching, consulting, or another high-ticket offer before - You've done any chat-based or DM sales - You're comfortable hopping on the occasional Zoom call when a lead wants one - You're a little bit woo and a little bit business (you'd fit right in) - You want to build a career here, not just a side gig What you'll do - Respond to inbound leads in our Skool community and Instagram DMs - Run chat conversations from "hey, saw your post" to "I'm in" - Follow up with warm leads and past conversations (this is where most of the money is) - Take sales calls when a lead prefers to talk it through live - Keep our CRM clean and pipelines updated - Join a short weekly sales huddle where we review conversations and sharpen your skills together

@Tina H Yount definitely, I love the entire structure and the "funnel". Simple, yet extremely powerful as it seems. What about you? Do you run a business yourself?

@Tina H Yount I am also running an online business and we still have a small tiny part of our agency clients from the "past"

𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 💰
Alright, September challenge: 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲. Because once Halloween and Black Friday roll around, everyone starts fighting for attention. So instead of waiting until November... Use September as your 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵. Here are a few easy things you can try: 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝟭: 𝗥𝘂𝗻 𝗮 𝟯–𝟱 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲 Keep the price the same and add a limited-time bonus, extra support, or fast-action perk. Bonus challenge: 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁? 😉 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝟮: 𝗚𝗼 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 What might they need after the result you already helped them get? Think: upgrade, continuation package, refresher session, or implementation support. 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝟯: 𝗥𝗲-𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 Go back through your email list, webinar attendees, old applications, or people who booked calls but never bought. A simple “Are you still looking to solve this?” can restart the conversation. 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝟰: 𝗥𝘂𝗻 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 Pick ONE specific problem. Teach it. Give them a quick win. Then lead into your paid offer. 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝟱: 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿 Think mini workshop, audit, challenge, template pack, or strategy session. Give people an easier first step into your main offer. 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝟲: 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹 Try changing your hook, headline, promise, positioning, or bonus before rebuilding anything. Sometimes the offer isn’t broken. It just needs a better angle. 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝟳: 𝗔𝘀𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 Run a poll, send an email, or post a question. Their answers might give you your Halloween or Black Friday campaign idea for free. You don’t need to do all of these. 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝘄𝗼. Test them. See what gets clicks, replies, calls, and sales. Then when Black Friday arrives, you’re not guessing. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼. So... 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿? 👀
