Intro
Hey everyone, I’m JR. I work across nonprofits, community-building projects, and a small business. Saw this community through Igor who I have followed on YT for quite a while and saw speak at a conference this past year. I’m a pretty active AI user already, I use a few LLMs and some tools weekly (if not daily) but I’m doing too much manual work between tools. The big area I want to grow in is building real AI workflows/automation. I joined this community because I want to move from “using AI tools” to actually designing smart, repeatable systems that save time and improve quality. Fun fact: I’m a dad of three, so efficiency isn’t just a productivity goal. 😄 Really excited to learn from everyone here.

@Odessa Rose First test will be a weekly process and making it frictionless. bullet points notes into a training: I outline it, copy it into an LLM, then into Gamma for slides, then back out to LLm to make a companion worksheet, way too many manual hops. That whole “idea → deck → worksheet → post” flow can simply be connected, automated pipeline. So later this week during my think space.

@Odessa Rose This one is just simple to one audience (fundraisers). I presently take my notes on a topic like monthly giving (made by me) then drop that into GPT to edit it cross reference it and prepare it for 8 slides to be dropped into gamma then I drop it into gamma it creates slide deck. Then I present it in a weekly micro training. So human start machine to machine and then human end
Fun Prompt to Try 😃
If you try this, please share yours in the comments. 🤗 Prompt of the Day: 💻✍🏾 | Egypt Desert and Pyramids Using this reference photo, keep the face and hair exactly the same. Create a powerful travel portrait in Egypt standing on warm golden desert sand with the Great Pyramids of Giza visible in the background. The person is standing tall with relaxed shoulders, looking confident and calm, as if taking in the history around them. A light desert breeze can gently move the clothing or hair. The mood feels strong, awe inspired, and grounded. Lighting should be soft golden hour sunlight, warm glow on the face, smooth shadows, and a slightly hazy desert sky for depth. Shot on a Nikon Z8 with an 85mm lens, eye level angle, shallow depth of field so the pyramids are clear but softly softened behind the person. Style is high end travel lifestyle photography, bright, cinematic, realistic skin texture, and rich warm desert tones.

Great prompt I need to work on it getting my eyes more exact when I do self photos but besides close friends it looks like me.

- Is learning AI still worth it in 2026 with how fast tools are evolving?

I think because it’s evolving so fast it makes it worth learning. Personally I believe seeing how to integrate it in my life to improve work and life.
