Question about book award
My book was just awarded a IPPY bronze award for cover design. I entered that category because I wanted my fabulous designer Domini Dragoone to get some recognition. But can I claim this as an award for my book as long as I also credit her?

Wow! Congratulations! Awesome news!
What conversation do you hope your book starts?
The best nonfiction books get people thinking, talking, questioning, or seeing something differently. What are people having conversations about after reading your book?

After reading The Neurodiversity Connection, I am hopeful that people will refrain from quick and often negative assumptions and be more curious about truly getting to know others. While written for teachers to understand students, this also applies to getting to know people they work with, people in their communities and especially people in their families.
My updated book cover based upon great feedback to the first cover.
Can you all take a look at this new revised cover and give me some frank feedback regarding: - “What kind of book do you think this is?” - “What stands out first?” - “Would you pick this up—and why or why not?” Thank you so very much!

Love this - definitely has a welcoming, coffee in the morning feel. I would think this is a book for a ladies bookclub, or something similar.
Are you ready for 2026?
In past years when I filmed a video looking into the year ahead I said things like 'reviews are still important, audiobooks continue to grow, and build your own audience' and all of that remains true however this is the first time I've looked ahead and gone 'woah - this year is going to be really different than past years!'. Things changed A LOT this year and it's setting 2026 up for some big shifts. Are you ready? If you aren't feeling ready ... let's chat about it in the comments here or on the video!! We want to set you up for success.

Partnering with a friend and colleague of over 40 years, I am thrilled to share that our book https://www.amazon.com/Neurodiversity-Connection-Educators-Understanding-Neurotypes/dp/B0FLWR1NH9/ref=sr_1_1? has been #1 in new releases in the inclusive education category for the past two weeks. I can't say enough about Book Launchers and the support they provided in this two year journey. We especially love our cover and have gotten sooooo many positive comments on it. Currently we have 14 5 star reviews. Our goal is to get this book in to the hands of teachers all around the world. We have learned so much and are now learning how to market through the Author Launch Kit! Yay for lifelong learning!
