Financial Readiness
For the last several years, Anni has avoided a will or trust because thinking of death was too hard. Today, we closed the deal and finalized our will and testament and trust. It was hard having conversations about “marriage after,” death, what’s included vs. not included, who is going to care for our children, etc. But after all that, we did it!! How do you guys continue to have such hard conversations?! Any tips to further ensure financial readiness!

Spiritual/Faith Pillar: over the past 2-3 months I’ve intentionally decided to surround myself with others that have more experience in their Faith than me. It has consequently challenged many of my perspectives I had before such as thinking that I lack something, that I need certain things to be in “order” to start making an impact or that I need to become something that God has not called me to be. I found there is no trick to seeing the fruits of growth only to remain consistent and open to growing with God which requires sacrifice and pain everyday in some way. It’s usually not ever comfortable. But I praise God I’m beginning to become more comfortable with being in uncomfortable positions everyday.

Productive
In my journey I used to say busy.. Such a horrible word. I also know that was not the best grammar on top of that word. I have found myself a lot of times being.... well..... BUSY... Instead of doing the things I am supposed to do. I am busy.. or other responsibilities I am BUSY.. I found myself there other the last couple weeks. Thankful the Lord pulled the slack out of me last week and got me back into being productive. Have you ever found yourself justifying the cares of life over what you should be doing?
