Favorite Cheat Meal?
We are all about clean eating! But sometimes, a cheat meal is mentally necessary to keep us motivated. Plus, it’s a tasty reward. Which would you choose below?

New to the Lab
Hi, I’m Kevin Loechl. I live in Atlanta. I’m interested in preserving and enhancing my mobility and flexibility while also building muscle and strength. My favorite movie is “Interstellar.” Looking forward to learning together!
Interstellar has been on my movie list for a long time now. I keep hearing good things about it, so I might need to finally watch it soon haha
Breakfast - yes or no?
Are you having breakfast when you get up? I, personally, have breakfast about two to three hours after I got up.

I usually drink some warm water first when I wake up, then have breakfast about 20 to 30 minutes later
New to the Lab
Hey everyone! I’m Vince from the Philippines. I joined because I want to build better habits, improve my mobility, and keep moving better as I get older. My favorite movie is the first Chronicles of Narnia movie Super happy to be here and looking forward to learning with you all!
@Mark Shelvock Ohh wow that’s awesome, seeing it live twice must’ve been amazing haha, might need to add that to my bucket list 📝
I’m Darryl. Grateful to be here & grateful for Michael Dean
Hi everyone — my name is Darryl, (from California, am I the only one?) - and I am truly excited to be part of MD Movement Lab. During my time training with Michael Dean Johnson, I’ve genuinely fallen in love with exercise, movement, and pushing my physical limits. What started as just working out has evolved into a deeper commitment to building strength, endurance, and longevity — and I’m excited to keep growing every single day. Right now, I’m focused on improving in a few key areas: 1) Nutrition discipline — I’ll be honest… I have a serious sweet tooth 😅 but I’m learning how to stay more consistent and intentional 2) Progressive overload — dialing in that “sweet spot” where I’m pushing hard enough to grow, while still recovering properly Beyond the physical side, I’m equally committed to developing a strong, resilient mindset to match the body I’m building. I’ve been studying and drawing inspiration from some of the greatest athletes of all time: • Michael Jordan • Tom Brady • Simone Biles • Michael Phelps (and many more to come) I truly believe that consistency, discipline, and mindset are what separate good from great (MY GOAL: Achieving GREATNESS) — and I’m here to embody that more and more each day. I’d love to connect with anyone here who’s serious about growth. If you’re working toward your goals and want accountability, consistency, and support, I’m all in 💪 👉 What’s one area you’re currently trying to improve in your training?
Nice to meet you Darryl! Always nice to study and get inspiration from great athletes, especially the GOATs haha
@Darryl Poquis That’s awesome! I remember watching Kobe Bryant motivational videos back in high school and feeling that mamba mentality haha
