All writers & all genres welcome!
What genre is your current manuscript? Have you published before or will this be your first?

@Danielle Marietta im thinking about posting some of my earlier unfinished stories as i decide what to do with them
Writing Through Writer's Block
Writerโ€™s block is that fog that rolls in right when the road gets interesting. The trick is not to fight the fog, but to change how you travel through it. Here are some of the most effective, writer-tested ways to get words moving again: - Write badly on purpose! (Messy words are raw material. No words means nothing to shape.) - Change the unit of work! (Instead of trying to write a chapter, try writing a paragraph or even just a sentence.) - Write sideways! (If the next scene is blocked, jump ahead. You never have to write from beginning to end. Write the scene that you can't stop thinking about. Write the twist. Write the ending. When you're ready, go back to where you stopped.) - Read, but read adjacent! (Read something close to your genre, but not identical. It reminds your brain of rhythm and possibility without triggering comparison spirals.) - Stop thinking about it! (Go for walks. Workout. Get together with the friends you haven't seen because you've been hiding behind your manuscript. Sometimes getting your mind off your writing leaves you open for more ideas to use in your story.) What do you do when writer's block kicks in??
